"We enjoyed our experience so much that we returned two nights later to celebrate our actual anniversary dinner. The front-of-house manager recognized us immediately and welcomed us warmly, maintaining that friendly atmosphere for our second visit. Without a doubt, whenever we plan a return trip to Scotland, Greens will be on our itinerary!
As for pricing, both visits cost us around £30-40 per person, which included one drink, one entrée, and one dessert — a truly reasonable price.
Regarding vegetarian options, while I didn't specifically ask, I noticed plenty of items marked with (VE) for vegetarian. When inquiring about celiac accommodations, we were informed that nearly the entire menu, including desserts, could be safely prepared with the right precautions. I found it quite impressive to discover such an accommodating restaurant in a small city.
Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. We especially recommend the brownie, slow-cooked lamb, and seafood dishes."
