"For our main course, we both had steak, and it was delightful; they truly serve the best steaks I've ever had. However, I ordered dauphinoise potatoes on the side, which turned out to be extremely dry and tasteless, resembling boiled sliced potatoes with a crispy top instead of the creamy goodness I expected.
We also ordered a side of mixed vegetables, but they forgot about it. We assured them it was no problem if it would take a while, but they ultimately prepared it, arriving only after I had finished my meal. When we spoke to the waiter, he mentioned that the usual chef was absent (as we had requested something from an old menu), so I suspect these mix-ups were due to a new chef or perhaps a less experienced one working on Wednesdays.
Overall, we were quite dissatisfied with our meal, but we’ve enjoyed the restaurant in the past, so we will return—just not on a Wednesday!"
