"Absolutely disappointed beyond belief. Why even bother opening and advertising that they do food? We really should have walked straight back out the door upon entering. But we had read reviews and really wanted to try this place. The staff were disinterested. Pointed to a table where we were to sit for our evening meal. We were given what can only be described as filthy sticky pieces of paper that were supposed to represent a menu. The table was dirty and sticky with drink stains. Nevertheless we proceeded to order 3 main meals. Over an hour later we still had no food and not once did anyone come over to the table to explain why. The place was by no means busy. There were 4 tables with customers! After approximately an hour and 10 minutes we asked if there was a time that we could expect our food to be ready. Bearing in mind our order was for baby back ribs, a steak burger and a chicken skewer. So not overly complicated. We were told that there was only 1 chef working!. And that the manageress would go and check for us. She returned to say that food would be ready in 5 minutes. Approximately 10 minutes later the baby ribs and steak burger arrived. We had to wait a further 5 minutes for the chicken skewer meal. When it did arrive the chicken was cold and absolutely cremated. So much so that the chicken itself had started to disintegrate and a powder of charcoal remains were on the plate. Absolutely disgusting and inedible. Our entire party left all the food and we went to the bar to pay and left. Disgusted, disappointed, disillusioned and would NEVER RETURN"

"The venue is lovely and the staff are friendly. I have dined here many times before, but the last couple of visits have been disappointing. On both occasions, we waited over an hour for our food to arrive and ended up leaving before eating. More recently, they had run out of all vegetarian options except for Fish and Chips, so unfortunately we left again without eating. Despite these recent experiences, I have had great meals at the Coach in the past and would still recommend them. However, I will be sure to double check the menu options before going again."

"We decided to try this restaurant for the first time because we are considering moving nearby and wanted to check out the local dining options. The experience was great, with some unique menu items like the hähnchenkatsu burger that we had never tried before and absolutely loved. The dining room was cozy and the service was excellent, making us feel well taken care of by the friendly team. The atmosphere in the bar area was lively without being intrusive to the dining room, and the overall value for the price was definitely worth a return visit."

"Food good, no choice, tasting menu only, but tasty. Room dreary dark and lacking atmosphere. Over priced all in all. Toilets an absolute disgrace and the face mask police unnecessary as you walk to from loo. First and last visit, polite head waiter, rest zero personality. Hard times for restaurants and out to support, but, Thompson try harder please. Did complain about loos and over zealous beardy waiter doing the mask security, but, as expected no real apology or action. Still filthy as we left later."

"We had been looking forward to visiting for a while and we were not disappointed, the food was as gorgeous as we had heard and more!! Our waiter was very polite and informative about the menu. "The restaurant very helpfully accommodated us when we arrived 30 minutes early. The service was always polite even though they were obviously under pressure. The meals ordered were good except that my fish was undercooked. This was dealt with fairly quickly. We all had a very enjoyable evening and it was nice to be in a venue where we could hold a conversation."

"Yesterday evening to jan. we were not sure what is to be expected from keeping the name of the facility. but a short look at the menu and we were thrilled by innovative, modern tonal dishes. I have to say that eating was not disappointed, in the opposite. a strong selection of Persian style tapas dishes or small teller . the harissa dressing bow steak was so professionally cooked that if I had closed my eyes, I could have been a table in to michelin star restaurant. the dishes were all fresh, delightful fragrant and boiled. that comes from a real foodie. gluten-free and there were many options for me and they have clearly marked a menu to help us with our decisions. the service was very good. it was friendly and attentive and they tried hard, but it felt overall a lack of consistency in standard of experience and education. although we have looked around and visited each other. my only critique was the strange choice of music. sounds like one of the waitress took over the sound system with her own music taste, which felt somewhat uncongruens for the entire ambiente. the last word must be over the decor. charming. both modern with a pub to the Persian verb, it was a pleasant firm for my eyes. as a design fan I was particularly impressed by the choice of lighting, they could have been very at home in one of the kind after overpriced w1 restaurants: overall very happy with this inadvertent fund. If I were in the Clapham area, I would definitely go back to explore more about the menu."

"This was our second visit to the restaurant, and unfortunately, it did not live up to our first experience. The service was poor, and the atmosphere was not as good as before. It seemed like there may have been a change in management or the manager was no longer there. They had loud music playing, not just background music, but bands like The Killers, which gave more of a bar vibe than a nice restaurant feel. Initially, we thought there was a party happening in the back room, but the music was only in our dining area and seemed to be more for the staff than the customers. The food was okay, but it was overshadowed by the disappointing service and loud music."
