"Five of us on a two day jolly at the Headingley Ashes Test match. We stumbled across this cafe on the Thursday morning and what a pleasure the place was. It was pretty full at 9am. The very efficient and friendly staff ushered us to our table and took our orders all full breakfasts and an additional tea cake (don’t ask! plus teas coffees. The quality was outstanding and a very reasonable £6.95 inc drink each. Needless to say we booked the following day just to be certain of a table ! A comprehensive menu coupled with great food plus superb staff make this a must go to cafe. We will return !"

"So my friends I arrived around midday for brunch. We had to wait for a waiter to greet us which was absolutely fine. We requested a table outside for 3 customers. There were 2 tables for 2 customers each available next to each other, but we’re told there was no space outside no reserved indications on either table) The waiter said there wasn’t a table outside for 3 of us, but said we could sit inside. He gave us no eye contact no consideration for the fact we had heavy suitcases with us. We were told to sit inside. We did this were handed menus. Again, no eye contact or personal engagement , but we had plenty of flies inside for company . We waited 10 minutes, no waiter attended to us. No communication, nothing. We left at this point as we did not feel welcome or valued as customers. Such a shame, the menu looked amazing, but the staff appeared inexperienced entirely disinterested in the customers. Note to management: your staff are in dire need of customer service training."

"Upon arrival, there were only about six people in the bar area and nobody in the restaurant. The atmosphere was lacking, as it was a large and cold space. We were asked if we wanted water for the table, but it arrived to be split by the waiting staff. They mopped up without offering to take our drinks or food order. After waiting 10 minutes, we were finally asked what food we wanted and requested a drink order. After 5 minutes, they returned to check our drink order, but still did not take our food order. Two more couples were shown to their tables before our food order was finally taken. The food arrived quickly and was just okay. We paid the bill, which had already been entered by the waiting staff, so there was no option to deduct a service charge unless we asked the staff to do so. Overall, we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant."

"I stayed at the International Hotel in Frimley and had pre-booked breakfast for £12. I was advised to go down to the Frimley city center to look for better offers. With the help of Google, I ended up at Cafe Deli. I ordered 3 omelettes with beans, 2 hash browns, and tomatoes for £6.50. The coffee and bottled water were also good. Keep up the good work, Cafe Deli!"

"we enjoyed our first visit in the re vamped abode. eating (big French onion suppenstarter for both of us and shattered fish chips for me and roast chickens for my partner) was very delicious and beautiful presented. there were not many diners and the bar area was empty, so not too much ambiente, but the dinge did not spoil. the employees were very competent and delivered a large service. only that which was not too sharp was a bit cold, it seemed that there was an air cone unit on our table. it was not an important thing, but they could do with making the place something cosier."

"I start with the positive, great location, beautiful pub beautiful and welcoming. we had booked a table in advance, which was good as he was pretty busy for a Tuesday. the disappointment came with the service, no one explained about the ordering over the app, we...figured that only for our drinks did not arrive ( apparently we added the wrong table number, we could not find that a drink finally arrived, was one not the correct order, but our server told us that he did not make the drinks. we decided to order food on the bar to be on the safe side. 5 minutes later we were told that there were no salads, no chips and only enough maic for a cake! no shinitzel. while I recognize this thing, it was the fact that nobody really seemed interested that we had a bad experience. eating was pretty good when it arrived, but we had to hurry when we had waited so long. it is a real shame that it would be great if these problems could be eliminated."

"We decided a night away was in order as we wanted to do Christmas shopping without fuss and it's been a long time since we've had a night away. So.. Checkin was fine. We received welcome pack detailing WiFi , checkout etc Then came time to go to our room, this is where the review starts. We were situated on the bottom floor, room or So we go through two security doors and to what feels like the hotels dirty secret as this was a small corridor tucked away at the rear next to a security door that made you jump from inside your room each time someone used it. So once inside the room we are greeted to a very pleasant, clean room with one major issue. Where is the view? Oh there isn't one. Instead we open the curtains to discover a red and black brick walled courtyard of sorts. Now I know a view isn't always a guarantee but I'll get to that So we drop in our bags and leave to do the last of our shopping and enjoy the time away from kids that we have we are back at hotel, back in the room and within mins we've heard security/fire door ft from ours slam shut multiple times. So I ask at reception and they are booked out, no other rooms available. OK Next morning after a not awful but not great night's sleep we leave early. I make a point if saying to front of house staff about door and heat of hotel as it was extremely warm but that's not a big deal. Only to be told that I should have asked for a different room. I did and was told you were booked solid So we paid nearly for a night in Glasgow, we had what my wife described as a dungeon bedroom, with no view and a near by door that would have woke the dead. Would we stay in this hotel again? Sadly no. The room we stayed in should not be used for guests paying ridiculous prices or anyone really I can't describe rest of hotel as we didn't go lurking I absolutely hate leaving a negative review on these things but we were just so disappointed. Hopefully this gets to the right people and it doesn't happen to anyone else Thank you Date of stay was"

"this place is brilliant! the personal is really friendly and made some fantastic cocktails to our preferences. the cocktails were simply the best we ever had the food was delicious and well presented. it has a really good pulsating atmosphere. "Extremely well organised event. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived, the afternoon tea and drinks were served and all of the sumptuous offerings were explained. Attention to detail was amazing. It was our daughter’s 30th birthday celebration, the team put a sweet congratulations card on the table for her and even brought out a slice of cake with a candle in to make the occasion even more special. All of the staff were attentive and professional, and the amazing food tasted every bit as good as it looked. I cannot rate this venue highly enough."

"Really really poor. The venue is lovely, but the restaurant would put me off ever using this place for a wedding. Service initially was fine, then 3 drunk ladies sat next to us which I wasn’t bothered about, it’s Xmas after all however they were asked numerous times if they wanted more drinks and if everything was okay, whereas my partner and I were not asked once for any more drinks etc seemed like they knew they’d make their money on 3 girls on the lash so didn’t bother with us. The starters were nice, the halloumi bruschetta was yummy but the Thai cake was literally one which was such poor value for money. Anyway, it came to the roasts I’m pretty sure I’d have eaten better at Toby carvery, st least the yorkshires would have been fresh. The roasts were awful, the but roast I had was not nice at all and looked like dog sick. It came in a soggy giant Yorkshire which looked like a frozen aunt Bessie’s, in fact it all looked like it had either been frozen or come in a bag, nothing fresh at all. And my partner had the pork, which is advertised with CRACKLING, but to call it that is actually laughable, when they actually bring you pulled pork and then a side of pork scratchings and say they’re crackling. I even asked the waitress about the crackling and she pointed to 5 pieces of pork scratchings on my partners plate and said that was is, I said to her they were pork scratchings but she didn’t understand. This was definitely a way to tell it wasn’t fresh as freshly cooked pork would have come with actual crackling on it. Honestly the whole thing was just awful, and to pay £15 for a roast that tastes like a microwave meal is ridiculous. We just wanted to leave, but again due to the service this took having to ask twice to be able to actually pay and leave. Such a shame as the barn/restaurant looks absolutely lovely, but I would absolutely never ever come back"

"that is a pub. what I mean by this is that it is the place where the old men of the opposite come to watch the football, the families come for a meal with their children and the people who are visiting are said to try the food specialties. after a long walk around the opposite I came over this pub and decided to dive for a drink. while it is in the center of london, it does not seem like a trendy destination; rather a good old pub known to the locals and kept secret for the tourists in the surrounding hotels relatiw. it is quite small in size, with Victorian themed decor and screens play sport. they seem to try to eat and drink; I tried the winter warmth pills, which tasted like sweet clam apfelsine with an extra fruity layer and was pretty. the food I saw some of the other moss eating looked delicious and I wish I had tried something myself. I would recommend his place for people who want to go out of the park with their family and then eat some lunch or dinner and drink some drinks."

"excellent service. very personal service by the recipeist and restaurant nafiza, which was efficient and friendly. the food was super, fresh and well cooked. the restaurant and the bar and other facilities are excellent. the ground for 3 stars for ambiente, however, is the restaurant lighting too bright and there should be background music. the conversation with others was very audible. Low-level music helps mask talks and more so forces people to talk calmer. the lighting did not help as it was at full brightness level, so it was not relaxed and other guests thought they were at home and talked very loud. I hope that this can be fixed, as this is very slight excitement, but the restaurant will transform. we are coming back to the final."

"Came here a couple weeks ago and had the pleasure of meeting the server Ash She was absolutely lovely and recommended some amazing dishes my favourites were the chilly cheesy chips and the meat samosas. We tried lamb Makons on our breakfast upon her recommendation which went very well with the breakfastSuch a good halal alternative to bacon She even managed to convince us to have dessert The food tasted amazing although the wait time could have been slightly shorter. we were recommended peanut butter shakes which were absolutely delicious . Smart sale tactics by Ash as we ended up spending far more than planned but it was worth every penny! The atmosphere was lovely as we sat outside and the owner was also a great chat. "We have been there a few times before for ice cream, they have a large choice, and very good. We loved that independant little place.We went there for a Saturday lunch with friends and kids. The lady serving was nice to the kids. We ordered a veggie chilli, a chili con carne (my favourite, which i was really looking forward to) and other dishes. 1adult arriving afterwards, sent us a text asking us to order a chili con carne. So my daughter, 14, went to see the waitress and said could i order another chili con carne. The waitress said “ok so that’s 2with meat and one without”. YesThe food arrives : 2 chicken curry which noone ordered. We said so straight away. She went back to the kitchen, and came back with the plates, saying to my daughter you did ask for 2curries. We said, no we are sure that we ordered 3chili, one veggie and 2 with meat. Another lady from the kitchen shouted, yeah i heard you say “curry”. The waitress: I can make chili con carne but it’s going to take 1/2h extra and you will to pay for curry and chili. My daughter grew up here and has no accent.It was uncomfortable and we didn’t want to wait and pay for things we never ordered. We were very accomodating and said we’ll have your curry, and to be fair it looked nice.We paid the bill in full and there was never an apology or any kind of nice words towards the confusion. We are sure to have ordered chili, we have a text message asking for a chili con carne, they may have heard curry. I think the mistake happened when the waitress made the order to the kitchen. They could have at least shared some responsability. They way they handled the situation was aggressive towards us, not taking any blame, or leaving any doubt. It’s not the best customer service. The food was good but it left us a bad taste. If they had been nicer dealing with it, we would go back, but this put us off.So i recommend you go, but write the order yourself on a paper, to avoid being served something else."

"Went there for quick lunch and it was a little bit disappointed. Spend £3.50 on a coronation chicken sandwich and £1.10 on a can of juice. The baguette was dry like it was lying there for more than 2 days. The lady did not used a gloves and cut the ends of the baguette not sure why probobly cause it was too dry to eat. That really ruined my baguette. Took it on take away and I was all ready too far to talk to stay about it. A great name for a place and lovely staff however it would be nice to see gloves on staff hands when they are preparing the food and clean cutting boards."
