"I booked a table for 15 at Ginjams for my 30th birthday celebrations, hoping to show my friends my favorite place in Bournemouth for cocktails and snacks. However, the night turned out to be a disaster. Despite preordering our food, we waited over 1.5 hours for it to arrive. Some dishes were missing, and there were mistakes in many orders, including serving cheese to a vegan. The waitress responded rudely when this was brought to her attention. Drinks were also slow to come out, leading to frustration among my guests. The manager offered only a 15% discount and asked us to keep waiting, despite few other customers in the restaurant. When the rest of the food never arrived, we had to settle for a 40% discount after much back and forth. This experience was disappointing, as Ginjams used to be a favorite spot known for its great customer service. I will not be returning after such a negative experience on my milestone birthday."
