"This is a proper restaurant, things done properly, you can dine and converse with your guests. We and our guests really enjoyed ourselves, they enjoyed the turbot and steak. I had the red mullet which was really nice and went well with celeriac. But it also came with a baked tiger prawn presumably fish farm reared on fishmeal, which had a strong nose to it, and lots of baked tomatoes which I don't personally think work with fish made me think of tinned pilchards in tomatoes. When I asked for some grinding pepper to spice the overwhelming tiger prawn and tomato effect, it wasn't well received, I had to give an excuse, but a customer shouldn't have to do that maybe the tiger prawn and tomatoes weren't needed ? Anyway in general a great family run restaurant, and really enjoyable, thanks"
