"Excellent food on the first floor it was quiet, perfect for a good chat in a beautiful restaurant. Downstairs its all character, low ceilings and lively. Outside there's loads of tables in front of the pub and on the large pontoon over the creek. Very good service, great quality food, picture perfect location. A real gem"

"hidden gem for eating in the center of Edinburgh. large decor and a decent number of sitting, as well as outdoors (for when we get out 1 day summer per year! the drinks are quite reasonable and there is a good selection of beer and weep as well as cocktails. the menu is great, with the option smaller or larger teller. we had the croquettes, steak and rocket and garnel. everything was great, the steak was served pink. the ham croketts were the outstanding court. good place to watch the football results and get rid of the vinuousness of the city center!"
