"Went here for a takeaway and was very disappointed. We ordered 2 haddock suppers and asked for one to be Gluten free. When we got back to our holiday home and opened the food it wasn’t even marked which one was gluten free which meant I couldn’t eat the fish without taking the batter off so it was just plain fish with no flavour. It wouldn’t have been hard to mark gf on the right one. Extremely careless. There was no salt and vinegar on the chips so they were also bland and also quite dry. The portions are huge so if it was edible you would definitely get moneys worth although one portion of chips is more than enough for 2 people but unfortunately it was mostly wasted as it just wasn’t good."

"The food and service is 5*, couldn’t fault it. Please do go and enjoy the food and service. Just wear many layers. I will certainly be back when the weather warms up. I wish I could give it a 5, but each time I’ve been here it is cold. Sitting on the upper level where the door is opened often by staff to go outside to get stock doesn’t help. The open fire is nice but doesn’t heat the upper level. It seems as though there just isn’t enough heating. I dress appropriately for being cold but your hands are very cold. A couple were in their coats eating their meal when we arrived. So it’s not just me or just on the day I was there."
