"I had made a reservation at the Golf Tavern for a Sunday evening specifically to watch the NFL. I had mentioned this when booking and called in advance to confirm that they would be showing the game. However, when I arrived, the staff were hesitant to switch one of the TV screens to the NFL for me, even though it was advertised as live sport that they offer. Despite pointing out the false advertising, the bar staff member simply stated they were not the manager, which was not a satisfactory or professional response. Additionally, the location of the pub outside the city centre required a taxi ride to and from. I was understandably disappointed and frustrated by the situation, as the staff seemed ill-prepared to handle it. I would advise caution when booking in advance for live sports to avoid disappointment."
