"During our last visit to the Saxon capital Dresden we ate in the “Freiberger Schankhaus” for the evening bread, now for the second time. In the original atmosphere we feel quite comfortable. The dark and harmonious interior makes the stay pleasant. The very attentive, diligent and always nice ladies and gentlemen of the service do their rest. After we had found a free table without pre-order, we ordered a freshly tapped Freiberger beer for the evening bread, a glass filled with half a liter of one of the Freiberger beer specialties. It is not really necessary to mention that they are good. The following beers were offered for us: cellar beer, bright, natural, strong and aromatic – fresh, bock beer, dark brown, caramel malt-concrete, savory and full-bodied, pils, golden yellow, herb – fresh and hop-concrete as well as black beer, roast-malzaromatic and full-bodied. The 2022 prices are 0.3 liters for 3,90 €, 0.5 liter for 4,90 € or 1 liter for 8,90 €. But there was also the whole offer on a board, the Freiberger PRO-BIER-SET with Pils, Bockbier, Schwarzbier and Kellerbier, so 4 x 0.1 liter for 8,50 € (2018 there were still 5,90 €, see photo! We didn't want to do that. Since the first round of us had already been emptied before eating, I ordered one more set, with significantly less air than in the back glasses. What we have taken can you see on the pictures. It tasted very good to us as expected. The relatively short card offers regional-rustic, Saxon Bohemian cuisine and offers for almost everyone a lunch or evening bread offer to do something with hunger. As mentioned above, we arrived for the second time at the end of March 2022, because we were very satisfied with food and drink during the first visit. During the first visit we had a salad, once for my sweetheart, the rustic mall pan with pork roast, roasted blood sausage and grill sausages with bacon and sauerkraut and roasted potatoes. On my plate were a rossin with red cabbage and lumps. For me, there was still what my treasure didn't make or didn't want to make, so I exchanged my empty plate for the almost empty plate from her. Both dishes were not on the map during our last visit. During our second visit, I found a delicate beer goulash with red cabbage in real Bohemian dumplings on my plate, my treasure was also very satisfied with the pork carving of Viennese style served with colorful salad nest on fries. The customer’s tool in the “Freiberger Schankhaus” is in bright beer beer mbels that carry their shell verses of the Saxon Bergmann shymne “Glück auf, Glück auf, der Steiger kommen” in blue writing. I find it a great idea, suitable for the silver and capital of the Saxon mining of Freiberg, incidentally noticed, my home town. Finally, we both had a Freiberger Bockbierbrand from the 1st. Dresdner speciality distillery »Augustus Rex«, proud 4,90 € for 0.2 cl.... The stove in the kitchen is hot and ready for use until an hour before the end of the opening period. The toilets are located on the lower floor and are pleasantly clean. I have almost full score."

"We booked a table for on a Saturday evening for three people, When we arrived the restaurant was pretty empty bar two tables upstairs. We were seated and left with menus for The very young waitress came and took our orders. Our drinks...were a pint, a orange squash and one cocktail. We waited for these and received nothing, our first bits of food arrived before our drinks. When the food arrived we had no cutlery and no plates so we asked for these, the attitude on the server was as though we had asked for his life. How dare we enter a restaurant and want cutlery and plates to eat off. We also asked for our drinks( remember that really difficult order we placed, beer , squash and a cocktail) Eventually our drinks turned up but still no plates or cutlery so the dishes that had arrived where slowly going cold on our table whilst we stared at them wishing we could eat them. When a different waiter passed by we asked him for plates and cutlery and within seconds he brought them along with our other dishes. The first dishes were cold by this time so we asked for them to be reheated. Again we were faced with attitude and rudeness by the server (Andrew i think he was called) How dare we ask for our food to be hot or at least warm enough to eat. Andrew offered to reheat the dishes and return, he never did. We ate the few dishes we were left with which were hot enough and then left, as we went downstairs to pay we were faced with a bill featuring several of the dishes we hadn't received and being charged full price for the ones we had and had had to return due to being cold. Andrew had told us we could have the bill half price due to the shocking service and attitude he showed and yet the bill did not reflect this. We eventually came to an agreement on the bill and left. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING SERVICE. There was a table of who waited about just for drinks and then decided to leave, a couple behind us who hadn't even had a drinks order taken after an hour and a poor couple who were just about to sit when we left. We warned them not to bother, Unless they fancied a very long night. We will not be back and i warn anyone who does visit, take a book and maybe even your PJs and a change of clothes, your in for a long wait."
