"I was searching for a cozy and welcoming place to host my retirement party on Friday, December 29th (since Level nightclub was closed that night). I wanted a location close to Hotwater Comedy Club, and The Grove happened to be right next door. A few weeks prior, I stopped by The Grove on a whim and met James, the assistant manager. He was incredibly friendly and offered me different options for the event. James was so accommodating and the venue seemed perfect, so I made a booking then and there. Over the next few weeks, I communicated with James via email to finalize venue details, drinks, and buffet options. He was able to meet all of my requests. He also arranged for a talented guitarist singer for later in the evening. On the night of the party, James was off-duty, so I met with the manager, Ian, who was just as helpful. He introduced me to the chef, a delightful young lady, as well as the outstanding bar staff. The entire evening ran smoothly. All of my guests were warmly welcomed, and everyone had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and plentiful for all attendees. I received many positive remarks from my guests about the food quality and the friendly, professional service of Ian and the excellent bar staff. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone at The Grove for going above and beyond to ensure the success of the event.
