"Unfortunately, the waitress did not return to check on us, and we were left sitting with empty glasses. We eventually managed to order another round of drinks, but again, it took a long time. This repeated when we tried to order a third round. When the drinks finally came, they were tasty and well-presented, though I noticed a few issues: the “belly bear” cocktail was missing the rubber bear sweets, there was no candy floss in the Candyfloss Cosmopolitan, and my Prosecco shot was forgotten in the cash cocktail!
As our time at the table came to an end, we wanted to order one last drink, but we were left waiting for the waitress to come back, which she did not. Our table was still littered with dirty plates, and one of us had to ask if anyone could clear them away. Eventually, the waitress returned and we explained that we needed our drinks quickly since we had to leave in 30 minutes. We waited and waited, and after another 20 minutes passed, the bar wasn’t even busy anymore because most customers had gone to the festival.
Frustrated, I went to the bar to inquire about our drinks, but the staff didn’t even ask where we were sitting or what we had ordered. Finally, our drinks appeared along with the bill, but no one came to take our payment, so we had to head back to the bar again.
Overall, the food was fantastic and I have no complaints there. However, the service needs improvement; they definitely require more wait and bar staff. The long waits between ordering and receiving drinks were quite disappointing, and we could have enjoyed many more if the service had been better."
