"an authentic Indian restaurant. brilliant service, beautiful environment. you were eating delicious. they have no names like vandaloo, korma, jalfrezi on their menu, because there is no grasp like vindaloo, korma, zalfrzi in Indian food for real. they have food names which would have appeared in the menu if they ever visit a restaurant in india. "Had a 90th celebration meal at Indian Essence early this month. From the moment we entered having drinks and nibbles an hour earlier than usual possible on a very rainy Saturday afternoon, the excellence, professionalism and warmth of service was clear to see. As much as the excellent service, my Dad was treated like a King and the portion sizes matched the magnanimous nature of the staff. Rabbit was a surprising revelation as one starter, chicken cooked several ways different to many other Indian restaurants starter selections offered was very good. The choice of mains were varied and sauces they were cooked in a sign of a top notch restaurant at the top of their game. By the time we reached desserts (washed down by more than one bottle of Chablis), the restaurant was filling up fast and buzzing for a normal October evening. After a pandemic and associated lack of celebrations for all, this was a choice I was more than happy to have made for such a special occasion. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to others for anything from normal meals to large celebrations. 5 star occasion...well deserved."

"I have had Afternoon Tea at Spice Merchant in Cookham on a couple of occasions and very much enjoyed the experience. However, Henley was an entirely different kettle of fish. We had both veg and meat versions and much of what was offered on the menu was not present, with no alternatives being offered. NO ginger potatoes. NO pakoras. NO scones. NO selection of teas. Vegetable wrap was filled with paneer, not vegetables; an issue since two other dishes were already paneer. Orange and chocolate cake was dry and hard. Peas in samosa filling were undercooked and hard. I took friends especially for the experience and frankly, it was was an embarrassment."

"Having previously had fantastic culinary experiences in aqua with family and friends, I decided to take business colleagues from italia, Bulgaria, saudi, Swiss and pakistan, who are all regular visitors of the coventry, and all agreed that aqua is the best restaurant they have. in the city. the menu choices are diverse and all dishes are excellently prepared. if required, they can be modified and the parts are very generous. the staff is friendly and helpful. Off-road parking is very useful in what can be a very busy part of the city. fast to one of my favorite restaurants in the world!"

"that is an incredible chaiiwala industry. the best I've ever done. it is so popular, it often caused the blackade of whalley range as autos stacking out to grab a quick cuppa. there are seating for 20 people, sufficient free parking close to and fantastic dining. the personal here is switched on, they are at the pulse. They make you very welcome and nothing is too much effort for them. the omelette wrapped in a chapati was my favorite. the Desi breakfast and Desi tea was absolutely excellent. the best Indian breakfast I had in blackburn. salim patel"

"It's been worst ever experience to visit any buffet place. Tried 4 type of chicken dishes all of them were quite hard that you needed hammer to break. Tried veg roll which had smell of burnt oil. Tried fish was also had burnt smell. In checking curry we did our best to find the chicken but only potato were there Lamb had still fat on it and wasn't fresh Egg fried rice were not fresh and looks like dry and burnt.... Best product they had was coca cola with Ice And I formed staff about it non of them bothered to look at it. Won't recommend at all"

"My daughter came back from 3 months volunteering in Nepal raving about mo mo's. The Yak and Yeti have vegetable and meat versions of mo mo's and they take 20 mins to steam, so we let them know we wanted the vegetable ones for a starter on arriving. Ate poppadoms whist waiting. The mo mo's were delicious! We had the vegan Thali for main course. Also delicious! One of our party doesn't like spicy food, so they made a very mild vegetable biryani which he enjoyed. My husband had the chicken tikka masala and steamed rice and said it was the best one he'd ever had. It was our first visit to this restaurant and it's a beautiful place. A super restaurant for special occasions."

"I regret not taking photos, but no picture could do justice to the high quality and amazing taste of the food at this restaurant! "The food at this restaurant was really delicious and the portion sizes were generous. The appetizers were especially good. My friends ordered the Thali and were very pleased with their choice, especially since it came with dessert. I opted for two small curries with rice and Naan, and I was extremely satisfied with everything. The Naan was freshly baked and helped me scoop up every last bit from my plate. I can't wait to come back and use my loyalty points for another visit."

"I recently visited The Loading restaurant and ordered roti with chana curry. I also tried jalebi, methi parota, and rose milk shaker. The restaurant is well-maintained and serves authentic vegetarian dishes. The samosas are freshly fried right in front of us, which is a highlight. They offer a variety of Indian sweets and snacks at a reasonable price (though could be slightly cheaper) and of good quality. I recommend giving them a try when you visit Soho Street."

"Extremely disappointed by the quality and quantity of food. The portion size of the starters was extremely small, not like any other Indian restaurant we have made. It should be a birthday contract, but turned into a nightmare! The service was ridiculously slow, they clearly prioritize their take orders.... The vegetarian option was so bland it was tasteless when we pointed out that we were told that their clientele was like mild flavors.... there was no taste! I had ordered a cucumber salad and was shocked when it was served in a tealight holder size dish.... I thought they'd bring me a Chutney! I can't think of something positive except that one of the meat dishes was ok, but again as the main it was filled to about a quarter of the tiffin box. Other tables had rice at the top of the tiffin... For the first time, I said that this restaurant would avoid."
