"I am a regular customer at this restaurant and have always enjoyed their beers. However, on my last visit, I was disappointed by the poor quality of both the food and service, despite the fact that it wasn't very busy. I will still return as usual, but I will be avoiding certain items on the menu. This place has now become hit or miss for me, which is concerning as I have been a loyal customer for years. Despite this, I can always count on their beer to be consistently good."

"Been once before and really enjoyed it so decided that we was going back for my birthday, the atmosphere was lively and we had good seats. The food was spot on, got plenty for the starters, I had myself the halloumi fries with dip and my partner had wings and we couldn't believe how much you got! We was both feeling full after the starters! We both had the bacon burgers and I had pizza fries and my partner had burger fries, I loved my fries but unfortunately my partner didn't like hers due to the burger fries having mustard on them (could do with explaining what goes on the fries on the menu) bit we both had half our burgers and had to take the rest home as we was both so full. Our waitress was so lovely and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door and even when we was leaving she was polite."

"I have recommended this place countless times to friends because I have always had amazing meals here. However, on Wednesday, it was unfortunately the last time we will be going. It wasn't because of the wait, as the burgers are always cooked fresh and worth waiting for. The issue was that we felt we were overcharged for the toppings. I paid £1.50 for just one thin slice of chorizo, which was quite disappointing. The bacon portions were also very small, and the halloumi was underwhelming. In previous visits, the burgers were generously topped, but this time it was disappointing. I had recently organized a team outing here because I had praised it as the best burger spot, but now I will have to find somewhere else as I don't want them to waste money on such small portions of toppings."

"on the afternoon after the cinema. busy, that's good, it's a Saturday, it's pay weekend for many people. we were sitting between two big groups, both of which were extremely annoying until we couldn't talk. when we were sitting, we are asked what drinks we would like us not even to have set ourselves right, let alone look at the menu. in the first 5 minutes of sitting we had 3 different waiting staff asking us what we wanted to order, very hastily we ordered some mozerella sticks. they were beautiful. we then ordered hauptseher themselves order pastrami burger with a side of chips. my partner ordered the Cuban sandwich. these came within minutes the sandwich for the price advertised was tiny and saturated in Grease/Oil to the point, the brot glued to the paper and then feel apart. my burger again saturated rolls and shattered the chips share was tiny. we love red dogs, but the experience this evening was terrible as running in a youth club of teenagers. a glass was dropped and exploded with glass that goes anywhere without failing to go, but it caused the whole restaurant to break. the experience as a whole was disappointing and did not want to return me and my partner to their facility. £60 wasted, we were literally in and out within half an hour. poor service bad quality only to poor."

"I had a wonderful meal, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The desserts were fantastic as well. The only reason I deducted a star was that we had to wait half an hour for our desserts, but I understand they were quite busy."

"All right, it’s been a little while since I last posted but this is the first time I’d ever tried fried chicken and waffle. Now, Bird seems to have some mixed, yet largely positive, reviews on google and one of my friends insisted we check it out. Unsurprisingly, we went for the fried chicken and waffle with maple syrup and Nashville hot sauces. As usual, we opted for a burger, with the chilli cheese (minus the chillis) being the one of choice. I also fancied some fried chicken tenders following an episode of Mark Weins (big up the og). I went for the tenders first and they were terrible, frankly. The coating was soft and the meat was suffocatingly dry as if they chucked them in the microwave for reheating. The fried chicken and waffle was much better, however, with the coating crispy and meat succulent. The waffles were soft with a hint of crisp around the coating; not too sweet and certainly fluffy. The fried chicken could’ve done with something absorbing the excess oil, though. Lastly, the burger was quite pleasant the charcoal bun was an interesting look and had a nice fluffy texture inside, with the fried thigh being both juicy and crispy. The balance of the condiments was appropriate. The staff were friendly and helpful; the place was quiet so it was nice to essentially relax without excessive noise. It’s covid friendly, which is a plus, because the interior design adds to the experience. If I fancy fried chicken and waffle again, I’ll likely look to explore alternative options for a first time visit. If you’re around Camden, you’re welcome to check out google reviews.
