"My friends and I hit this pub every Tuesday evening. The prices are very reasonable for a sit down dinner (ie 8.95 for the gammon steak and eggs with chips (fries to the Americans), 7.95 for fish and chips, no tip expected). On the other hand, once in awhile they will run out of things, like certain types of pastas, and will ask you to substitute on the fly. The burgers must be cooked well done, because they are stored frozen at the pub. Sometimes, the kitchen can be slow, owing perhaps to a more than expected number of guests. On the plus side, they put up a huge projector to play champions league games and it is never too busy to enjoy the games there. Beer selection and prices are good. The sticky toffee pudding with a generous scoop of ice cream is a key must order."
