"Friendly staff and the food was exceptional. We ended up paying more for a lunch than we would normally but it was a Saturday and the more reasonably set menu is only served Mon Fri. Luckily we had a voucher for Christmas so didn't have to pay for it all! I had the scallops, beef and hokey pokey pudding and couldn't fault it at all wonderful flavours. Likewise, my husband enjoyed his too and had the Tortellini, pork and blackcurrant souffle. My Lemongrass Hooper Cocktail was lovely and my husband had a carafe of wine (although he felt the choice was limited unless you wanted to pay top prices). Honestly, we're not tight but like value for money! A lovely experience. Thank you to the team at Mere."
