"I have been here several times for lunch mid week and it has always been enjoyable. Came for Sunday lunch with some visiting Spanish relatives whilst in town sightseeing with them. We all loved the food, the beers and the atmosphere was comfortable, I think the high ceiling helps prevent the noise of loud conversation being a problem. Its also very pleasant with the large windows and lots of natural daylight. The only thing that lets this plave down is the male toilets in the basement and the passageway down there all really grotty but not uncommon in old London buildings I guess, just not a pleasant experience if you visit during a delicious lunch. Nevertheless we look forward to our next visit."
