"We’ve tried this pub a couple of times when under different management. Never felt really comfortable as it had “this is a pub for local people” vibes. But, today, we were made to feel right at home by every single member of staff we came into contact with. And the Sunday roast was exceptional! My husband had the lamb and I had the vegan roast both were great, as were the enormous portions of carrots, parsnips, leeks and cauliflower cheese that accompanied them. We finished off by sharing a delicious sticky toffee pudding and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his two beers too. Thanks all for a fantastic, great value for money lunch. We’ll definitely be back again soon."
