"Six of us visited Bistro Jacques for a pre theatre meal. Good choice of food for each course and delicious as well. Tuesday offer is excellent value 2 courses and a bottle wine for £17.99. As 2 of us were driving we were able to take our wine home! Staff were friendly and efficient and at no time did we feel rushed or under pressure to leave our table. We were there for 2 hours! Bistro Jacques is always our choice when visiting the Everyman."

"The restaurant has a wonderful cozy atmosphere. The fixed price menu offers limited choices but is excellent value. However, there is much more variety on the a la carte menu. The food was served quickly and hot. The service was exceptional, with our waiter Joe going above and beyond to recommend wine and provide attentive service. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon."
