"My wife and I love Turkish food we were going to try Pasha but the reviews weren't glowing. Checked the menu for this restaurant online and it appealed. It may not be in the best location but well less than 100m off the high street and you are greeted by a frontage that looks out of place. Well lit and stylish. We were greeted by Carmel, there was a lovely buzz about the place people chatting and laughing. Cold meze was brought to the table, houmous, esme salad (chilli), mint yoghurt, aubergine and potato (so good we took a lot home) and vegetables in mayonnaise together with some beautiful warm bread. The menu is exactly what you expect but the prices are unbelievable. My wife had mixed shish, I had mixed grill, my son had doner and my daughter had chicken tenders (would have fed an adult), we all had 2 rounds of drinks and it came to less than £50. Metin, the owner and chef came out to greet us and check our meal was ok. There were a couple who had eaten there 2 to 3 times a week for 4 years and I could understand why. Nothing was too much trouble. I cannot wait to go back this Saturday if only for lunch."
