"We made a reservation through OpenTable, which was confirmed. The day before our booking, we received an email asking us to confirm again, which we did. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that there was no reservation under our name. Despite showing them the booking reference and the two confirmations on my phone, we were still not able to get a table. It was a Christmas treat for us and we had traveled a long distance, so it was disappointing not to be able to dine at the restaurant."

"So I've been going to this shop since my Teenage years, now I'm an adult. I love how it's an authentic Turkish restaurant run by a Turkish family. Good people serving good food. I have friends that travel for 20 minutes for their special home made Chilli sauce. For sure it's worth a try. It's a nice family run shop which the family still work hard on. In fact I grew up watching them develope it and can tell you the quality has not slipped, only improved. Good food at fair prices. Will surely be back soon."

"I booked a table for my mums birthday dinner after reading great reviews and we had the best time!! Every team member was polite, professional and so lovely. We were given excellent customer service the minute we walked in until we left. The food was incredibly presented and we did not have to wait long at all even though it was a busy Friday evening. The staff and restaurant sang happy birthday to my mum and gave us a birthday dessert which was a lovely surprise. I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for making my mums birthday dinner extra special!"

"The restaurant was quite busy ,when we arrived they had a stand in manager who didn’t seem to get the service right, and was really just wandering around or just sitting looking at the booking system, We had a 20 wait before we got to order any drinks order ,There was young man who was very helpful and apologised for the service and also explained that they were short staffed. He was the only member of the waiting staff that appeared to have any form of customer service . I do Think all staff should be speaking in English to each other, especially in front of house including the manager, but there was a lot of staff speaking in their own language to each other in front of customers."

"beautiful place, large restaurant good service. especially enjoyed the cold stater we had. we had every chicken served on coleslaw, I think it might swim in oil, so I wasn't a big fan of the chicken kewer. I would enjoy the taste of the coal much more than the dressur. Unfortunately, a Greek restaurant without salad due to a delivery zone is not the same,love a Greek salad. Overall, I would visit for one of my favorites who visit beetroot and lens salad."

"I recently had dinner at a restaurant that was as authentic as Tom Conti playing a Greek man. My wife and I went before seeing "Shirley Valentine" at the theater. Unfortunately, the food was served all at once, with both appetizers and main courses on the tiny table, making it difficult to even see my wife. The dishes were bland and the portions were small, far from resembling real Greek cuisine. I would suggest avoiding this restaurant and trying other options in the area that are much better. Overall, I do not recommend dining here."

"Having lived in London 33 years, I knew this restaurant existed, always wanted to visit, now I regret not coming sooner. There are thousands of trendy, go to places in this city, most are all style over substance. This place gives a you a warm Cypriot/Greek hug, rarely found these days. No frills or fanciness, they know what they are doing and do it well. It is like stepping back in time but that is not a bad thing.It makes you feel like and old friend you met in a taverna in Ayia Napa. The food is as Greek/Cypriot as you can get. Generous, well cooked and delicious. The Dolmades are divine but the Kleftiko is the star, a very slow cooked large piece of lamb cooked till it completely falls off the bone.Rice is cooked in stock with tiny slivers of pasta. To be honest it is all of a very high standard.The prices are extremely reasonable. This is not art on a plate. You will need a hefty appetite, leaving full, satisfied with a warm glow, The music will stay in your head and adds to the atmosphere. I brought a friend for his birthday on Thursday lunch, decided to return yesterday with another friend, both loved it.The staff are welcoming, lovely and a joy. This place is just what it says on the tin. If any one criticizes they have never eaten great food in a Greek/Cypriot restaurant before.."

"I recently had the misfortune of dining at The Real Greek restaurant and it was a terrible experience from start to finish. I had heard good things about this Greek restaurant, but unfortunately, my expectations were not met. The food arrived semi-cold which was very disappointing. The octopus was inedible as it was too gummy and lacked any flavor. The general quality of the food was poor for the price we paid. We expected a lot more from this restaurant but were left disappointed and unsatisfied. To make matters worse, when we arrived, we informed the staff that we had a Fork offer for 50% off. When it was time to pay the bill, we had to wait for 15 minutes before we had to ask again for the bill. When the bill finally arrived, the discount was not applied, which was very frustrating. We had to wait yet again for the bill to be corrected. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at The Real Greek restaurant. The food was of poor quality and overpriced. The service was slow, unresponsive and they failed to apply the 50% discount that we had informed them about. I will not be returning to this restaurant again, and I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a quality dining experience."
