"The food at Massawa is excellent. We always order the sharing platter, which comes with a variety of meats, lentils, and vegetables, and savor every bite."

"Food was delicious. I had booked a table for my birthday quite a way in advance but when we arrived it was as though they were not expecting us. We had to wait a fair while for a table and then the food took a very long time to come BUT when it did all was forgiven. Don't be in a rush when you are eating here...very delicious food but slow service. Staff are nice and friendly I will eat here again."

"I enjoyed some truly delightful Ethiopian cuisine after climbing at Vauxwall West near Nine Elms yesterday. I opted for the Kitfo special, which has been praised in many reviews—it's spiced raw beef (essentially tartare) served with Ethiopian butter on Injera and accompanied by cottage cheese. It was absolutely delicious! My friend ordered the mixed meat platter for one, which featured two types of lamb and beef. It was an excellent value, and everything was fresh and flavorful! The host was professional and polite as well; I would certainly come back! Update 10/21/22: I celebrated my birthday here, and once again, the food was fantastic. They can accommodate large parties in a downstairs area. I highly recommend this place!"

"My dining experience at the Ethiopian restaurant was a journey of cultural discovery. The authentic atmosphere and traditional music transported me into the rich culture of Ethiopia. I was particularly impressed by the taste and variety of the dishes served. The injera (traditional Ethiopian bread) and various wots (stew dishes) appealed to my palate. The hospitality of the staff and their knowledge about the dishes made the experience even more special. However, the difficulty in finding a seat due to the restaurant's popularity and occasional slow service were the only negatives of the evening. Additionally, due to the restaurant's small size, some tables were very close to each other, which might not be ideal for private conversations. Overall, this Ethiopian restaurant offered a wonderful experience with its delicious food and warm atmosphere, but improvements could be made in managing the venue's busyness and the speed of service."

"immediately after entering the restaurant I was met by the delicious smell of eating. we were climbing west in vauxwall, so both starved. we ordered the fisig beyaynetu (mixed plate) alicha fitfit (lamb stew). both were really delicious and a good portion. I also tried the homemade honey wine. the owner was very nice. will definitely return to try more dishes!"
