"My son and I entered because I was wanting to treat him to a pre Christmas dinner. So we saw on the menu a deal for a course dinner. Little did we know that we would be charged for both courses separately despite the deal. So having a read through the menu a turkey dinner seemed rather tempting so we both ordered that. We also asked for coke what we received was watered down dirty dish water that they said was pepsi. The food arrived and it was the equivalent of a care home meal. Frozen veg potato cut in half! Some stringy bland turkey. All floating in bland gravy. Our deserts where mediocre and the portion size was appallingly small. The audacity to charge People for that horrendous meal my son and I then left and got some burgers from the Glasgow market festival which where far more adequate and had flavour. We shall not be returning"

"eating is great, but the delivery times are shocking young. in the last weeks ordered a few times and every time I waited well over two hours. the brunch ordered at 11 o'clock in the morning and only after almost 2. nearly a three-hour waiting period I finally missed when I had to go to work at 1. should not accept orders when they are these busy young"

"We had a fantastic experience at an authentic Turkish kebab shop located conveniently near the city center and the new train station. For just under £17, we enjoyed decently portioned kebabs with chips and drinks. The unique aspect of the meat and bread being served separately actually worked well, and we particularly enjoyed the spicy chili sauce that accompanied the meal. Overall, a very satisfying dining experience."

"Upmarket Burgers! Not a bad thing, in fact a fantastic thing. Fancy a good burger but don't want to break the bank? Here's the place. You won't be looking at a £6 burger and chips but you'll hardly need three courses. My partner and I shared two burgers, a single large fries and a milkshake in order to not be skinned alive on apprentice wages however we were very surprised when we ended up with two full people and a couple chips spare! The food was fantastic and very reasonable portions even considering the price, the shakes may seem pricey however whem it turns up in a glass AND a mixer half full to top it up you can't be mad."

"I was feeling quite hungry and craving something delicious and tasty. At first, I considered Kentucky Fried Chicken, but then I remembered their new fries, which turned me off. Still wanting chicken, I searched for alternatives and came across this place. I ordered a sharing bucket with 10 pieces of chicken, 4 fries, a side, and a 1.25 litre beverage, opting for full fat Pepsi. The order arrived quickly, and the fries were perfect - a delicious potato snack. The fried chicken was juicy, crispy, and filled with moisture, leaving me completely satisfied. I will definitely be ordering from here again, craving more!"

"When I say the service was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable, its an understatement. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:45pm on 20/04/2023 and we were told at the drive through that they would be with us in a minute. A whole 15 minutes later, cars beeping at us we decided to leave. We were ignored, humiliated and I will NEVER take my custom to that restaurant again."

"Just been to Oatcakes and Milkshakes for the second time (travelling over half an hour to get there) and it is amazing!!! We had monster shakes, pancakes and oatcakes and couldn’t fault any of them. They look and taste delicious. My daughter suffers with a severe peanut allergy and the staff could not do more to accommodate this. They steamed all the mixers, even the glass they served it in and checked through all the ingredients with us to make sure, putting all of our minds at ease. Thank you oatcakes and milkshakes we will be back again soon!!"

"ordered a whopper with cheese for a quick bite on the way home. there were others waiting (mother and two yong girls when I arrived. I'm still waiting when I'm waiting! looks like there's only two hired girls at the cash box and they're gonna make the food on the back. Anyway, I saw that the helicopter slipped down and 3 more smaller burgers (probably for the mother and daughter.) the girl continued to mess with the cash box and tried to correct another order, apparently, from the screams from the front to the back of the house. she was fed and asked me to give my helicopter by asking that it was ready (which she had not noticed to be confronted with me, I am busy doing something else." I tried to be jovial and not fight about the complexity of the mahle that are greeted by me.' she gave me the helicopter and I went. eat about 5 minutes later and say the burger was luke warm would be an understatement. service and eating is shocking and not comparable to their cannock joint!"

"This excellent hamburger restaurant is located right in the center of Milton Keynes shopping area. I loved the exterior of the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and professional, willing to accommodate any requests we had. The food was delicious, especially my sister's double cheeseburger which came with sweet potato fries (which were tasty) and coleslaw. The kitchen is open, allowing customers to watch the cooks at work. Our food came out quickly, only a 15-minute wait. The restaurant's layout and decor are simple yet attractive. The menu has a wide variety of options, including vegetarian, kids' meals, and gluten-free choices. Parking is available but can be pricey, especially in the red zone. The restaurant is located near the food court and a bank in CMK. Takeout orders are also an option. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"if I could give this place, minus stare I would, ordered the food for the half of the last seven and not nearly twenty to ten. I get his pandemic, but if they can't honor orders, or they're probably very late, so on the website to say its not hard to update their website to say that they eat over two hours before it appears, but then I assume that they don't want that, telephoneed and asked where eating was after the first hour, a murmurmured it soon. I like to eat this, but I will never order here again, perhaps the staff like eating at this time of night, I don't and if they aren't honest enough to just say how long it will be, then I go somewhere."

"We've visited the Fishes a couple of times in the last couple of months and have generally had quite positive experiences of it. I'll start by saying that the food at the Fishes is lovely, really well cooked and a varied and seasonal menu. They also do picnic baskets that can be enjoyed in their large garden. The kitchen is open onto the terrace area and you can hear the chefs talking to each other, just like you see on the TV. You really get the impression it's proper chefs doing the cooking and they know what they're up to. There were, however, a couple of little things that let down the quality of the food. The first time we visited, the table wasn't ready at the time of our reservation and we had to wait over half an hour for a table to become available. The second time, we were given a very dirty glass with one of our drinks and the service was so slow we had to leave before we could order pudding. It's a shame that these little things spoil what would otherwise be a very enjoyable dining experience."
