"I have been here before but only for drinks and vowed not to go back again after that experience. However, here I am again trying out what the veggie offerings are and avoiding the hot drinks and sticking to a safer bet of the cold...drinks. This establishment is dressed up as an American Diner, but it falls way short of being anything like a diner except for the colour of the decor. A pseudo diner at best serving low quality, frozen, processes foods at higher end fast food prices. I purchased the vegan burger which came with chips and a diet coke. As a vegan of 30+ years I can honestly say the burger ranks in my top 3 of worst vegan/veggie burgers. No flavour, bland, boring a slither of onion and a bit of manky lettuce to let you know they really don't care about their food. No sauces or pickles in the burger (so unamerican) just a poor excuse for a bun and a last burger in the shop experience. The chips were as dull as watching a snail compete in the London Marathon. Tasted like the old Kwik Save no frills that people serve to the people they hate. After 8 sachets of BBQ sauce it still never lifted them out of their suicidal depression. To be frankly honest the sauce was the best part of the meal. The diet coke, although pricey £2.75 for a little more than a standard 330 ml can, was ok. There was no way I was going to attempt their coffee from a machine again yet charging high end prices. It's good it does a vegan option and marks their menus up correctly with this information. Also the lady cleaning the tables was quick to clear tables and sanitise after they were used, so these get the second star. My receipt time was 12:59 and I got my food at 13:27 and considering there is hardly anyone here was probably about 10 minutes too long. I have read loads of reviews on this place on Google and Trip advisor and can agree with a lot of the negative assessments. With the lack of determination to address these issues and try and make things better I know that writing this is just for my own personal satisfaction as the establishment is not inclined on taking people's feedback and trying to improve things. Hopefully readers will have a better experience but as for me I will not dine in this diner as there are far more other interesting and tasty offerings to be had."
