"The burgers are amazing!! The meat is the star of the show and the sauce and vegetables do not cover up the delicious taste of the meat itself, which emphasizes the burger. The meat is perfectly cooked to the level of your pleasure. And finally the burgers come in a soft Brioche hall that completes the magic. The rosemary chips are crispy and full taste When you go between 12pm 3pm, you can have the chips and burgers for 9.50 pounds"

"After a disappointing experience with a delivery driver, the management at Tub and Cone really impressed us with some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. It was 9:30 on Mother's Day and we thought we were going to leave without our order. However, after a simple phone call, the manager agreed to cook a fresh batch of food at no additional cost, and even threw in some extra goodies. The food was amazing, with generous portion sizes and friendly employees. We will definitely be choosing Tub and Cone over local alternatives like Caspers or Heavenly Deserts in the future."

"No welcome on arrival, we had to ask three times if someone could take our order. We'd booked for 5.30 to allow time to eat before the Tuesday night football at the Valley. There were only three tables in bar ourselves at this point. It took nearly 1 1/2 hrs to get our mains, all the time the kitchen was prioritising Take Aways for Just Eat customers over restaurant diners. Other people were complaining about the wait around us. When our starters had come and someone came to the table to ask if everything was ok, he'd turned around and walked off before I could compliment him on the starters. They literally didnt give a toss, apart from their friends... To add insult to injury I'd just got up to ask about the wait on the food and a waiter proceeded to put a plate of fried chicken and a bowl of chips on a table in the corner behind us, there was no one sat at the table, until two lads arrived clearly their buddies and sat down to eat when we had been waiting over 45 minutes for our mains. The food arrived, my butter chicken consisted of huge chunks of dried out chicken in yoghurt with some spice mix, my friend's chicken biryani was cold, my peshwari naan was soo sweet as to be inedible. We left after 5 minutes of getting our mains having paid. Safe to say that's a disaster not to be repeated in the same place!"

"This is a great small café, which serves predominantly guests at the hotel. The menu is limited, but what it does well. Instead of going back to Oxford on a rainy day, we had dinner here. It's mainly pizzas and my husband and I shared a big pizza and caesar salad that was all we needed. We also had desert and a drink. The atmosphere was calm and allowed conversation with a pleasantly low background music. The service was good and the meal was good value. Social distancing and COVID protocols were good."

"I went to this restaurant for breakfast this morning and the waffles were amazing. The staff are lovely and the coffee comes with a small scoop of ice cream. They also gave us some treats as gifts and my daughter really enjoyed her little ice cream. It's a great place to stop during Christmas shopping or for a quick bite with the kids. I highly recommend trying it out."
