"In my visits to Drumchapel I've always enjoyed the fare on offer at Pauls. When calling for collection I've always been struck by the spotless shop and serving areas. Deliveries are always prompt, service is always cheery and friendly. No stranger to a chippy supper over the years, Pauls is right up there with the best I've had. Portions are hearty and the batter is a delightful crispy experience, especially on the fish. Great variety, always tasty and the sausage supper would fill you for a fortnight. Great for a wee home delivery treat."

"Family meal out. Definitely a hidden gem. It was absolutely delicious. Everything is freshly cooked to order. Food was mouthwatering and very well presented. Had a few takeaways from here and in my time but sitting in the restaurant is a different ball game. You get all the pleasant aromas of the food cooking. Premises are very clean. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Great for kids too as there's a kids menu and there's always pizza for the older kids!! Definitely be back in the future and fingers crossed at the awards. Good luck"

"Worst fish and chips for years. Ordered 3 cod plus 1 haddock and 2 large chips. 1 cod badly overcooked with batter burned and fish nearly solid. Other 2 cod slightly overcooked. Haddock perfect. Chips were badly overdone and tasted like oil not changed regularly. 34 Pounds total cost. Very poor and won't be returning. Used to be excellent now disgusting."

"To be completely honest, the burger at this restaurant reminded me of a glorified McDonald's burger. While there was nothing inherently wrong with it, I didn't find anything particularly special about it either. Burgers are my favorite food, so I may be a bit critical, but when I took a bite, it immediately reminded me of a McDonald's hamburger, with a fairly similar taste. After waiting for years to visit Bunsen based on the many positive reviews, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. The burger was just very basic and simple, which may appeal to some people, but I was unsure how they had built a successful restaurant chain around it. Nonetheless, I must give credit where it's due."
