"Staff are superb. Very noisy wen we went, offered to move us downstairs, they recognised the fact we were struggling with noise to Start with. Nothing is too much trouble. A service charge of 10% was added to our bill(we were a party of 8) and wen we went to pay we were asked if we were happy with bill and did we want to take off service charge (we didn't). Food is fantastic and the lotus biscuit cheesecake is to die for . Recommend this restaurant"

"Called in for breakfast at 11.50am as sign stated serving breakfast until midday. Was told breakfast service was over. We pointed out that the sign stated otherwise. Staff were unfriendly, surly, and clearly not interested in accommodating us. I'm not surprised it was so empty when so many other restaurants in the area are buzzing. No customer service at all."

"they do not have many vegetarian/vegan meals, but they are marked clearly as vegetarian/vegan. I had the vegan beyond meat burger with vegan brioche bene, vegan mayo and vegan cheese, which was very nice. the dessert was a bit down, as the celestial sorbet consisted of only a small swallow and the berries had not as described in the menu on it. they took it back to the kitchen and added a few small berries. at £4.30 isn't good. the personal seemed a bit chaotic, maybe they were overwhelmed by the amount of memory on Sunday customers."

"Pictures kind of say it all. Ordered meal for two. One cant stand cucumber but other has reflux issues with cucumber and tomato so both avoid both in meals (read vomiting, all night stomach cramps and generally feeling rubbish for 24hours). We believe instructions were clear but feel free to disagree. Meal delivered with cucumber and tomato on both. Called takeaway to resolve and got through after 15mins to be offered a part credit which we declined. It was either full credit or replacement of the kebabs. Driver came 30mins later with replacement. Asked for the first kebabs back (which were in bin by that point) however given to him. Wings and chips ok but too tired to eat the kebabs as had eaten rest whilst it was hot given partial order replacement only. Meal tomorrow sorted is a bonus mind.... we think."

Fish was dry and rubbery charged £12 for this is disgusting I'd rather eat gravel. Called to complain and all the chef said he cooked it himself and there was nothing wrong. Started giving me attitude because I was complaining. Avoid and at all costs"

"Eating was excellent. more beautiful place and would come back. large selection of pizzas and pasta dishes and a lot of other delicious dishes. Unfortunately, the only thing that gave it up was the service. it was good at the beginning, but after our net we were somehow forgotten and polishing glasses or retrofitting were more important than we were. but maybe it was just one night, so will come back and hopefully it was just one. Edit: was just again and it was great. service was fast and pleasant. the food came out very quickly and it did not compromise on the quality as it was excellent. I'm not sure if lamb works on pizza, but it was worth trying as I never tried. overall much better service than last time. very good and will come back I am sure soon"

"Family meal out. Definitely a hidden gem. It was absolutely delicious. Everything is freshly cooked to order. Food was mouthwatering and very well presented. Had a few takeaways from here and in my time but sitting in the restaurant is a different ball game. You get all the pleasant aromas of the food cooking. Premises are very clean. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful. Great for kids too as there's a kids menu and there's always pizza for the older kids!! Definitely be back in the future and fingers crossed at the awards. Good luck"

"Higher Prices, smaller portions I generally rate La Vita highly but this time I need to mark it down as I feel the pinch of shrinkflation, prices have gone up whilst portions (e.g. pasta) have become smaller. I also have to mention the dessert we got, it was the toffee popcorn sundae. Now my wife does not like complaining but as a trusted customer I must. In the past I have enjoyed this dessert but not the last two times. This most recent time, the dessert was 80% whipped cream and 20% ice cream, should be the other way around. If I wanted a mouthful of whipped cream I would just go to Asda and buy a can of sprayable cream and eat that. But I don't expect that in a restaurant charging almost £10 for the dessert. I don't know if its a money saving idea to give the customer less ice cream. The mains was still decent enough."
