"my friend and I were in bristol and decided to take a lunch in Pizza Express. with my friend being vegan, we had a quick look at the menu in the window to check if there are some vegan options and noticed a few,...so decided to go into the inner. when entering the restaurant was clean and modern, but quite simple, it is quite a big restaurant with many tables, so we did not have to wait. once sitting, we were offered a separate vegan menu that had a great choice of options for our surprise. there were at least 10 pizzas and several appetizers, sides and desserts. we decided to share two different pizzas, so it went for the vegan ad astra and the vegan giardiniera. the service was fast and efficient during our meal and when the waitress took our order, she mentioned there was a offer on a free side of teig balls when they spend £10 when they use their app! So we have two portions of teig balls, one with hummus and one with a tomato-harrisa-dip. eating was fast and delicious and the vegan mozzarella was one of the best we had in a restaurant. the price of pizzas was quite reasonable and with the free teig balls also, it was definitiw the price worth. Overall, I would highly recommend trying their vegan pizzas as their cheese was very nice. eating is reasonable, the service was fast and they can go for everyone."

"I met here with my partner and my kids before I saw a movie on Saturday night. Despite the non-booking they had a table available within a few minutes so that the service started well. our beverage order was taken quickly and came quickly, and those. Food ordering has also been sorted quickly. when it arrived, it was tasty enough, although the waitress knocked over my bottle of koks (thanks empty) and dropped another one fork. arrived after eating (not all at the same time, there was a gap of several minutes between each of the most important courses arriving) we were left to think they were ideal, but it meant that we don't order more drinks than we chat busy and always forget to win a server attention. afterwards in the cinema my partner pointed out that we did not get the hellories ordered by me (and when checking the received acknowledgement I would also be paid.) In summary, eating was okay and the service was so-so, so nothing special and I have no hurry to go back."

"my enkelin chose this place for the pizza for her family birthday party yesterday. they ordered pizzas, a pasta and a few pages. when the order arrived, one of the pizzas was missing when they complained, she was told that they could not do anything. she should go through deliveroo. she could hear the chef in the background that he was only prepared for the two pure pizzas we had ordered. we offered to collect the missing pizza, but they refused. we felt that the person with whom my enkelin spoke was rude and was simply not interested. deliveroo not to deal with these things on the phone, they need to email them. all we wanted was the missing pizza we had ordered, not a refund. they had taken the money, but had not fulfilled the complete order! as a family we used this restaurant as it opened for the first time and there were regular customers. we enjoyed eating there and recommended this place to others. we will not do that anymore! the customer service seems to have gone completely out of the window. Luckily there are many alternative pizza places close to choosing from."

"We went as we often do for my birthday and had three courses plus wine. We reeled at how expensive the restaurant has become, when the main ingredient in almost all dishes is effectively, bread! £82 less the £10 per head government payment and a...£20 gift card we had. Covid was being managed well, staff were good, but to read in the media that this chain is struggling financially, there was c. 80% gross profit on our meal is unacceptable. Wine is 4-5 times the retail (let alone wholesale) price in the nearby supermarkets, which are not the cheapest anyway. We have paid far less when Pizza Express were offering deals and what happened to my birthday Prosecco? We’ve been losyal for nearly two decades but I can not justify over eighty pounds for a pizza meal."

"I recently visited sidcup pizza express after having a disappointing experience in the Bexleyheath branch. I can honestly say that it was day and night between the two. from personal to eat. the waiters were very welcoming when we arrived and staged us quickly. the waiter on our table was a young guy named alfie fabulous, very polite in his way to speak, respectful and helpful. we were a little silly when we were wrecked, but he was very patient and laughed with us. the food was really delicious. many thanks to sidcup broke and wonderful alfie for the excellent culinary experience."

"We hadn't booked but turned up just before it got busy last Saturday, Sam greeted us and squeezed us in for a quick dinner just moments before it got busy with bookings which we were really grateful for. Food was the usual reliable Pizza Express fare, I like eating here because there are good gluten free options. We were served by Sam and a waitress whose name I didn't catch but they were both really helpful, friendly and efficient."

"Came here as it was close to hotel and weather was not good. We thought we would get special service as it was a birthday celebration. How wrong was we. We were shown to our table very nicely. Ordered drinks but was frowned at...when asked if we could also have jug of tap water on the table we had also ordered bottles of wine for We also had some certain food requirements. When we asked if some things on pizzas could be swapped our male server said no. Also asked if one choice of pizza toppings could be made into a calzone to which he said no. So ordered what we could as we were hungry. The waiter was not very accommodating at all. He was more interested in his mobile phone. Also while we were waiting for food glass bottles were being thrown into a plastic box from the kitchen door and one piece of glass came near our table. No apology though. The two pizza chefs though were amazing and worked very hard behind the counter. While we were eating the waiter didn’t come to check if all was well we had to ask for the pepper mill for one of our pasta dishes to which he just plopped it on the table and did not offer any parmesan to us. If the restaurant had been busy we would have understood mistakes but it was very quiet. We paid our bill and left a tip hoping it would be shared with the chefs. One of the party said he put the tip in his own pocket. On our way out we thanked the chefs for there hard work and told them we would mention them in this review. Overall we did not get the service we was hoping for and will not return. A very expensive restaurant with poor front of house service on this night."

"I often come to Cafe Marzano as it has a lovely atmosphere right in the heart of the Forum. The coffee is delicious and yesterday we also sampled cake and pastries, rainbow cookies for the children and a bambinoccino. Helpful and friendly staff have everything organised. Very enjoyable!"
