"My husband and I have been to The Painted Heron which is now called TPH not sure why the name was changed as the original is very nice many times. This time the menu was changed and it took us a while to decide what to order. The food is always delicious and we will go back. Our friends really enjoyed it."

"Good ambience... And that's the only good thing! Food some items are ok like naan bread. But curries were bad. Especially Tikka masala was so sweet like dessert. Service was pathetically slow. Pulav rice was like yesterday's left out plain rice. Will not visit again, given there are so many other Indian restaurants around."

"The food and the drinks were really good and it is a nice restaurant the only thing that it was ruined for us was a useless waiter who didn't ask if we wanted to start popadums that every other indian always ask, and in the middle of the meal of our starter meal the waiter suddenly came to the table and puts the main menu (for some reasons Eltham Yeti had unveiled the menu in such two. Such a shame that it looked great."

"Service was slow and and rather defensive when when we asked after our first order. Starter was bland and the main course curries also bland."

"My daughter came back from 3 months volunteering in Nepal raving about mo mo's. The Yak and Yeti have vegetable and meat versions of mo mo's and they take 20 mins to steam, so we let them know we wanted the vegetable ones for a starter on arriving. Ate poppadoms whist waiting. The mo mo's were delicious! We had the vegan Thali for main course. Also delicious! One of our party doesn't like spicy food, so they made a very mild vegetable biryani which he enjoyed. My husband had the chicken tikka masala and steamed rice and said it was the best one he'd ever had. It was our first visit to this restaurant and it's a beautiful place. A super restaurant for special occasions."
