"Had an overnight with friends here. Rooms and bathrooms were beautiful and nicely decorated. Bedding and towels fresh and clean. However our room, no 3, was freezing!! We eventually worked out heating and on our return from an evening out, the room was toasty! We were unable to get the bathroom radiator to work and the shower was awful and just dripped out. It needs a pump tbh! The breakfast and the Chef (what a great fella) completely made up for these glitches. Absolutely amazing! The table was laid out perfectly, plenty of cereals, fruit, jams etc. The full English was laid out buffet style and was top quality. Tea and coffee served in pots with the best toast ever! I’d return at the drop of a hat (but not take a shower ha ha) and we’re only saddened we couldn’t spend an evening in the pub which looked inviting and cosy. Thank you."
