"As someone who has been a cook for many years and a lover of Indian cuisine, I recently visited this restaurant for the first time on my birthday. I must say that I was extremely impressed and even a bit frustrated that I only have one stomach, as the food was truly magical and delicious. The dishes prepared by the chefs were a delight to the taste buds and I was completely enamored with the flavors. Additionally, the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and pleasant. The staff were also professional and attentive. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful Indian restaurant again. Thank you."

"Okay, so this is my first review. Being a student, one always tries to find places that offer good food with reasonable prices. Dosa village is one of them. Their food is delicious, with a special mention to the Gobhi Manchurian and Paneer Devil in the snacks category. Other things I tried here included, Mysore Masala Dosa, Tomato Uthhappam all of which were tasty. The service might be a little slow because they don't have much staff but the food makes up for it. And do try either the Filter coffee or Masala Chai after your meal! :"

"which pack a spicy punch. The cozy atmosphere and attentive service make for a pleasant dining experience. The menu includes traditional Kerala cuisine as well as some unique fusion dishes. The flavors are bold and the spice levels can be adjusted to suit your preference. Overall, Kerala Kitchen is a great choice for those who enjoy flavorful and spicy food in a welcoming setting."

"Was underwhelmed by this place, having eaten before at the one in the West End and found their dosas to be good. Ate the veg mini buffet meal which comprised too much rice, two chapatis, two papad, a chickpea curry, a sambar, and poriyal (it's a choice between poryial or raita you don't get both but should really get a curd with this included). The chickpeas and poriyal were just ok didn't feel like there was that much masala in them and weren't that spicy, and neither was the sambar. Felt more homestyle but not in a good way (ie. you could make it better yourself at home). Place was freezing too as they door was kept open and initial service was slow. Added to that the prize of £10 as stated on the menu turned out to be £12 on the bill. Sneaky (and a mark off my review just for that). Wouldn't be back in a hurry, based on this visit, given there are several other much better South Indian places."

"was not sure about the environment when we arrived, but once a few tables had filled it helped the atmosphere! the personal was friendly and attentive and once we had slipped over the extensive menu and made our selection, we were not disappointed when the food arrived. absolutely faultless, all delicious and so amazing."

"Very disappointed. I ordered from Shri Bheema because on its website it said the Bridge of Don location was open. I ordered for collection with the JustEat website quoting me for pickup. When I finished processing the order at the confirmation said pickup had changed to Not ideal, but manageable. I arrived at the Bridge of Don location to find out that it was closed and the food was coming from Belmont Street. I was disheartened by this, but they explained they could not get staff from India to fill the kitchen. I really want to be sympathetic, but it was before my food arrived which leads to my poor review. The food was good. Lamb korma was light and sweet, perfect for my kids. Chicken patia was surprisingly spicy, but so delicious I ate through the sweats. The naan was huge and each curry would give two generous portions. However, Shri Bheema is more expensive than others and if you can't get the food in good time, then my view is it isn't worth it."

"Ordered a meal for on Wednesday and was late then my chicken madras was missing and when I called up again I was told that they checked the cameras and it was out in the bag and made out to be a liar. Usually a great Indian but will not ever be going back there. Unless I am reimbursed in someway or another. I have been ordering from here atleast once every weeks for years and was absolutely shocked and disgusted by the way I was treated. Me and my wife had to share main chicken dansack and she dosent even like that. The madras was for her."

"The vegetarian choices at this restaurant are top-notch, especially the Dosa and paneer dishes. It's a pity that they don't offer draft beer, but it's not a major issue when the food is this delicious. Despite having only one server that night, he managed to attend to all the tables efficiently. This restaurant is truly authentic and definitely worth a visit."
"It was a bit of a bummer that they were having a deep clean but there was no notice so you only got to know of it after you were seated... One consequence was that the lamb in my biryani was a little under cooked though the taste was very good. It wasn't cheap so It would be so so good, if their communication was clearer and they were a bit more careful in the kitchen. Better to tell a customer to change the order rather than serve undercooked lamb. But I want to say again that the taste was very good I just wished they had been more transparent about my food choice and I also wish they had half plate options for single diners. But all in all I would go again :"

"I recently dined at a new South Indian/Sri Lankan restaurant in Reading. My first impression was positive. The cozy atmosphere provided a refreshing change from other restaurants that often have a more commercial taste."
