"At first time ordered with them at the end of October, as they were new on Just Eat site. They gave me an hour delivery time, so I took my time and had a shower. Then noticed that driver tried to call me, because food has received 35 minutes earlier than expected. Usually I like earlier delivery, but not that much. The prawn crackers for £1.75 I got 8 pieces of prawn crackers, I'm not joking, I took so many pictures to prove it, 8 pieces in a very posh paper bag... Otherwise food is very tasty, good condition and I do appreciate the carton round boxes, which are Eco friendly (except the lid which is plastic... Also the paper carrier bag is a very good idea and I really like the thoughts that they seem environment conscious. But the prawn crackers... I am still shocked. For £1.80 or £2 other Chinese takeaways gives a full big bag of prawn crackers, but not 8 pieces!!! Also I would have like to receive a restaurant menu, which normally used to be given in the takeaway bag, but unfortunately they missed it. Hopefully another time, because I still plan to order from them without crackers..."

"My partner and I visited Chester and were looking for a quick meal before heading home. My partner, who frequents restaurants in our local area, suggested Wok and Go. It turned out to be a big mistake. We both ordered the sweet and sour box - one small and one regular. Everything was fine until my partner found a bluebottle in his food, near the end of his meal. He could have gotten very sick. He immediately asked for a refund, which the girl working there handled well. However, I think only his meal was refunded, even though I had the same food and couldn't trust mine was okay. The chef had an appalling attitude towards the situation, seeming to find it laughable. This was very unprofessional. My partner and I work in a restaurant, and if this is the chef's attitude, they will lose business. The girl was apologetic and expressed how disgusting it was. I barely ate my meal as it put me off. I will never come back here and would not recommend this place to anyone unless the chef changes his attitude."

"Lovely meal, nice service and we were the only people in there until the end of our meal. The food was full of flavour, very filling and just the right sizing. Safe to say it allowed me to welcome a food coma. There was a gentleman there serving on his own and he was very punctual with ordering, drink serving and food serving. What was nice is he gave us space but welcomed conversation if we started it. Like we told the gentleman... we all definitely be going back again!! Parking: Park in the wilkos car park behind the restaurant. Its a 2 min slow walk and 40 second brisk walk. "We have been several times before the enlargement of the restaurant and had a fad time on every visit. Sadly, on our first visit since the revamp, it all went horribly wrong. Left waiting along time tor service, order took for ages to come even though we had our 4yo grandaughter with us and had explicitly ordered hers first, it didn't turn up until two if the three adult main meals had been served!! One unhappy child! When the adult meals turned up, they were not all as ordered some side orderers were burnt! Yes, the serving staff did their best to rectify the situation, and well done for that, but sadly, the whole event means that we won't be coming back anytime soon."

"My friends and I went to have dinner at Chaophraya today, 6:15 was our reservation time, however upon arrival we were escorted to our table. We sat down and asked us if we wanted some water, which was nice and we said yes. It literally took over 15 minutes for the water to arrive at our table. We had to ask for our water. Now it’s nearly 30 minutes sat down with no one asking us if we want to order drinks or food, of which we then asked the waiter to order drinks. I mean upon ordering our food I expressed a number of times to the waiter I believe he is called Marco that I have a serious peanut allergy. I asked if I could have my food without any peanuts he said that’s fine…. Well after waiting so long for our starters it eventually comes to our table and the waiter places our plates in front so us. My first thought was how come he is not reassuring me that my plate has no peanuts. I had to ask the guy if mine has no peanuts he didn’t say anything but just take my plate and walk away of which in that moment I knew my starter has peanuts. If I had not asked if my plate had peanuts and I just ate the food I would have been in a serious state right now and my peanut allergy is extremely serious. I was annoyed at the fact that he didn’t apologise or explain to me the mistake that happened, I felt like I wasn’t acknowledged at all. I asked to speak to the manager of which he said he won’t bill me for my meal, I still felt upset with the way things went about. The whole service was a let down, from the drinks and food coming late to the whole peanuts issue, I was extremely disappointed by the service and I’m still shaken by the whole thing cause if I ate my starter I would have been in a serious situation between life and death."

"Very disappointed with my first visit to the restaurant. We were recommend this eatery by a friend who had joined us for this visit, they also were disappointed too. The service to start with was fine, we were seated promptly and our drinks arrived swiftly too. We then proceeded to order starters and main courses. The starters took thirty minutes to arrive at the table and the mains then took a further hour, which considering there were only approximately thirty people in the restaurant seems to be excessive. We did ask one of the many waitresses how much longer our food would be, to which the reply was, they would go and find out. The waitress never returned so we were non the wiser. When the food did arrive I felt it was of a mediocre standard, the jasmine rice I had ordered was like sticky rice (one big ball), not at all light and fluffy as it should be, non of our party was very impressed with their food. From comments that was over heard other patrons were experiencing the same. Finally to add insult to injury when we checked the bill after leaving we discovered we were charged a ten per cent service charge for a party of three!! for our shocking experience. All of the party has stated they would not be returning."

"Popped in for a quick bite at lunchtime, and opted for the calzone. You'd better be hungry it was a large (and fantastic) calzone, and it came with salad and chips! Fabulous staff, great food, and a wonderful setting right on Cromwell Street and looking out toward the harbour. Highly recommended. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"While the customer service was excellent (the wait staff was very attentive and friendly), unfortunately the quality of the food was merely satisfactory. We went out of our way to travel from the Lake District to find this is no longer a proper Malaysian eatery after a change of ownership. Despite the fact that they still serve Malaysian cuisine, they were not authentic at all. The fact that they continue to advertise themselves as a Chinese Malaysian restaurant despite the fact that both the owner and the chef are originally from Mainland China is extremely disappointing and also a bit misleading. If you, like us, are hoping to try some authentic Malaysian cuisines, then you should definitely keep this in mind."

The food was good, but served in small bowls instead of plates, which we would have preferred. The meal was also quite expensive."

"We decided to dine here for my sons birthday a couple of weeks ago on a Friday. Our table was booked for 5.30 so it wasn't the busiest at that time, in fact there was only one other table at the time our food came out. I would like to add I've eaten here before, and had great food and service. The owner was pleasant and showed us to the table, but the waiters/waitresses were quite young and borderline rude. The food was lukewarm- barely edible food on cold plates and not a great atmosphere. When we left the bar staff/waiters didn't acknowledge that we were leaving. I work with the public and customer service goes a long way, I will not be recommending this establishment to any of my local clients, or even as a takeaway. Such a shame as it was for a special occasion, maybe new owners and staff have taken over as it was such a drastic change from last time?"

"Very tasty home cooked in little cafe just of the promenade. Go find it and eat it Situated just behind the flamingo arcade is this hidden little gem. Not just a cafe but also a place by asian ingredients within. You will by welcomed the host and service is second to none. We had some mixed starters to begin. The summer rolls where very fresh and were a welcome break from some of the other fried starters. The Pho soup was very light and refreshing. It complimented our fried power with chilli fish sauce. All In all, a very pleasant and tasty meal with plenty of sauces to try our dishes with."

"We popped in for lunch after driving down from Fort William on a Friday. The place was quite busy,with no booths available so we took one of the centre tables, but the very MINUTE another guest left she moved us to a booth by the...window. The first menu we were handed was the lunch menu, which offers 3 courses for £8. But being from the Fort where there are 3 TERRIBLE chinese restaurant we asked or the full alacarte. I ordered salt pepper chicken wings for a starter, and the Seafood combo, and his fine self ordered the oriental chicken noodle soup and a beef curry withh fried riice. My wings came and the portions were so large I shared with him! He throughly enjoyed his soup woth the oriental egg noodles an got some wings as a bonus-lol!Shortly after the waitress advised me that the kitchen was out of scallops for my combo, but offered me extra others in it which was AMAZING. It came out with a surplus of big fat juicy prawns, squid and mussels in a sesame sauce garnished with an edible rice flower truly outstanding! His beef curry was devine also, the onions in it were thick and sweet, and the curry sauce was just spicy enough with a light cinnamon undertone.Needless to say, we both hit the clean plate club and had NO room for desert! YUM YUM YUM! PS I used to live not far from this restaurant and their take-aways are just as good as their sit downs Always a treat to visit here!"

"Visited The Red Lion on Saturday lunch time for a meal with my family which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Great food selection and a wide range of both alcoholic and soft drinks to cater for all (particularly my fussy family! "From my first phonecall I was assured that the manager was going to help me at the door with my disabled parents. He was true to his word and was at the door to greet us. We arrived on opening, we were given seats close to the bathroom for access. The menu was extensive and explained. We ate amazing food and met the owner who was as attentive as the manager. Well done guys, you deserve the accolades on trip advisor ."

"Yes, went for carry out it's upstairs in the restaurant): there were two ladies in front of me ordering and a middle aged women came over and asked me my order which I began, when...lo! the phone rang whereupon I was ignored and the call answered. At least she then directed me to the other member of staff. I had made the actual effort to go to the premises but was promptly disrespected and ignored for persons unknown out in the wild. Smaller portions and increased price over what I normally pay in the town means the food is about double the cost £22.95 for one special curry with boiled rice and one beef curry with fried rice). It was served in good time and tasty."
