"The person serving the food was not having the best day. They were not rude or anything, but I think customer engagement can be better and a little more enthusiastic. When we arrived they offered us a limited (short) menu for lunch and not the ‘A La Carte’ listed and advertised on the App. The salad we ordered had an avocado with loads of black spots, we don’t eat them like that at home, so we are expecting a super ripe avocado to be served to any person for a £15 salad. The person serving didn’t provide a drinks menu. The starters were for sharing so we had to ask the chef directly for spare plates. We all have bad days and good day, the person serving was not in a good day, which is fine. The food was reasonable for hotel food. It would be good to mention in the address that the restaurant is located within the ‘Double Tree’ hotel."
