"I experienced this chain first in Birmingham last Xmas and it was a great experience. My wife took me to the Peterborough HMBC for lunch on my birthday, last week, and it was a bit of a let down. The staff (Dan of the many piercings) was quick enough to seat us on seriously hard chairs at a small, wooden table. A personable young lady took our drinks order 2 diet cokes, no ice, no lemon. Along came the glasses filled with ice....begin again. Then came the up selling; fries, rings, sauce ..... I ordered a chicken and brie 'burger with cranberry. It was hot and utterly delicious. Great food not great ambience. Everyone was nice and doing their jobs to the max. A little expensive for what it is. Discounts available to NHS employees."
