"eating is good. the service was friendly and they were good to make a photo. on the website, however, they advertise a 3 tapas deal for 12.50 we came to see a sign outside 3 tapas deal for 14.50, I was not amused. the waitress then apparently had no warning about the deal and went to check. offer for 14.50 good, I notice that the deal was online in the choice anyway. we order, generally enjoy eating and get the bill. the deal was not taken into account. the waiter says we should have let the waitress know. that upset me when I'm pretty sure she asked him to. there was only approx. 5.75 and had to choose 2 dishes from the sections. I have already recommended this restaurant on another page, but this experience has upset me. they need to change their website and educate their personal."

"A nice joint serving classic tapas, with friendly service. Table of 6, Outdoor seating, dinner, weekday The tapas on offer are great! Cant go wrong with any of them. Some standouts include the Albondigas and Gambas de Ajillo. The charcuterie was really well done! Give their Sangria a shot. Prices are average. Staff are helpful and friendly! Do be aware that if you were to sit outdoors and it was a cold day, there would be a chance you'd be getting a seat with no heater. Bring a blanket! A pleasant and lively atmosphere with groups of friends and families just enjoying wonderful food"

"We enjoyed the tapas and tried to share a row between three. We contained additional gambas that they were tasty. We were pleased to be able to take our time and were not at least hastened. However, our first three choices were not in stock, but three? I'll come back as I had excellent meals here before, that wasn't her best."

"Ordered for delivery and let me tell you something: I don't think I've eaten such a good and original kebab in a long time. First thing you see it's branding on all packaging they provide, nice touch and stands out from other places, but what important food was so good. Hummus was great, quite oily with good texture and served with peanut pesto but really kebab was what stolen the show for me. So tasty, full of flavours, original taste, fresh ingredients and sauces, would like to know what they are. It's not very spicy but in this case I liked it even more. Give them a go if you are looking for a change from your normal boring kebab place."

"This charming family-run restaurant is a place I frequently visit for lunch or dinner, and the service is consistently excellent. I highly recommend the cappuccino, which is beautifully topped with a delicious chocolate design. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, although I would love to see a few more vegetarian options. If you find yourself in Stoke Newington and are looking for a relaxing atmosphere paired with delightful Spanish cuisine, this spot comes highly recommended. The happy hour also looks promising!"

"I 'll be completely honest, we went to this restaurant following glowing reviews and we were a little disappointed. I felt that the service we received wasn 't amazing and I wasn 't overly impressed with the food either. When we arrived, the waiter wasn 't very welcoming and told us to choose where we wanted to sit, he brought us menus and told us where to find the specials and then didn 't return for a while, when he did we ordered food and drink as we waited long enough that we had already decided our food order. For our whole stay we were not given table water like every other table and the waiter who served us wasn 't very polite. It was difficult to get his attention and honestly, he wasnt very approachable, we felt like he wasn 't in a very good mood! The food was ok and it did come out very quickly, which was great, but the scallops were cold and the battered squid was a little burnt. Once we had finished eating, the waiter took our plates away, we said we hadn 't received a dish to which he responded rudely and abruptly 'oh really, well that 's why I said are you done? '... surely they would know!! The kitchen confirmed our dishes were all sent, but when he came back over to confirm the dishes we ordered, there was one that definitely didn 't come out, so he organised that. This dish then of course came much later then all our others, but at least he apologised. It wasn 't removed from the bill or anything as a good will gesture, which to be honest is something I probably would have done. At this point we also asked if we could order another drink, given we had no water and hadn 't been offered another, we thought we would take this opportunity! When the waiter returned with a new drink, he took away my partner 's drink which was still a quarter full! Again, we didn 't quibble due to how the waiter was being. They offered us a dessert menu and when we decided not to have a dessert they looked annoyed... strange. We didn 't even get a thank you and goodbye when we left! I won 't be recommending this restaurant with the glowing reviews we had received about it and honestly very unlikely to go back."

"Dined at TapaVino in canary wharf and I am still dreaming about the experience! The service and food was hard to fault! Impressive menu which took me back to Spain! The high light of our experience was watching the one man show of your chef, who we had to the pleasure to meet, Chiara! She was in complete control of the kitchen which set the energy and the mood for the restaurant! What an asset to your team and so great at her job! She even came and brought us a dish and explained it! Thankyou for the experience can’t wait to see you again"

"Food was excellent. Beautifully presented and some very clever combinations, especially the leek hearts with black pudding! Every dish very tasty. My only slight draw back was the service, which was a shame because they were very nice but painfully slow. Food came out at a good pace but took ages to be served once seated, never asked us if we wanted drinks, when eventually served went straight after our food order. also had to catching their eye when we wanted more water and drinks. However a very small point on the scheme if things. Will definitely be back!"

"very close to the river, mar i terra is a typical Spanish restaurant with a large selection of tapas. I just went once to add the restaurant to my menu and I was very happy with my choice. the restaurant itself is not so pretentious with a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, although some of the tables were quite small. I remember ordering cubes of chicken breast fried in oil and garlic quote tasty and well cooked. we also had a few beers, each of which were about £3,50. the service was pretty good, although a bit slow, as the restaurant was at the time when I went packed. my next visit will take place for group dinner that I believe will also be great!"

"I chose to dine at Malmaison based on the positive reviews, and I was impressed by the unique and charming setting. The goat cheese starter was beautifully presented and delicious. However, the steak frites main course was mediocre, especially considering the price of £21. The steak was not trimmed properly, leaving a significant amount of fat. The service was disappointingly slow, and overall, the main courses were overpriced ranging from £18-£30. While the setting was lovely, I felt that the value for money was lacking. As a fan of fine dining, I am willing to pay for quality, but in this case, I was left feeling disappointed. I don't think I would return to Malmaison, as there are other restaurants in Oxford that offer better value."

"I would like to give a proper revue but upon arriving at the restaurant to find it was closed, there's not a lot I can say. It was a very special occasion and I went through all emotions from anger to very disappointed in about 2 mins. I can't for the life me understand why such a highly rated establishment didn't let people know it was shut is beyond my comprehension. Totally spoiled my weekend in Oxford. Whether it was your companies fault or there's doesn't really alter anything. I received the booking confirmation which was ludicrous!!! I've booked the Savoy in November, which went through you guys again, I trust it will be open upon arrival!!!"
