"Pubs that only take payment by card should have this writ LARGE on their door and on their menus! Why wait until it comes to time to pay the bill to say I 'm sorry, we only take payment by card ? Well I 'm sorry, I only make payment by cash. I understand the benefits of only taking card payments but they should make this clear before they take orders otherwise it leads to an embarrassing experience at the end of an otherwise pleasant afternoon. For this sole reason I will never return and I will never recommend."

"The pub setting is very nice. We were seated comfortably. The fish and chips arrived very quickly after ordering. The batter looked very light in colour however, it was crisp and cooked. The taste was disappointing. The curry sauce accompanying was tasteless. Other dishes might have been a better choice."
