"We had a lovely lunch with friends today. I had requested on the booking form for a nice quiet corner and when we arrived we were shown to a lovely table set in an alcove. Our waitress looked really festive with a Christmas Headband . Her name was Emma and she was so professional with her waiting service to us nothing was too much trouble even down to finding me some apple sauce for my mains of Pork. Although we didn’t opt out for the festive menu 2 of us asked if we could have Christmas Pudding . Emma checked with kitchen and they were happy to serve it to us. Coffee was brought soon after puddings no waiting although the restaurant was busy. 10/10 Emma"

"We had a warm welcome and my meal was taken off the bill which was fair but it was quite the nice lunch I had hoped for! I ordered sirloin steak medium with an extra portbello mushoom. The steak had a lot of fat and gristle which I cut off. It turned out to be well done but so tough it was hard to chew. The waitress came to ask how the the food was and offered to change to steak and I accepted. She brought back a new steak quite quickly but it was actually bleeding on the plate. Part of the underside was still red on the outside. After that we were ignored for a long time (otherwise I would have asked for the steak to be cooked). Eventually the barman came over and I showed him the steak and he took it off the bill. I think that they must be having some problems in the kitchen?"
