"We placed our order shortly after we arrived at the restaurant. It was quite busy, but despite the crowds, the staff were very cheerful and welcoming. The food was tasty - we enjoyed the full English breakfast and the ham and cheese toastie. The weather was beautiful, so we decided to sit outside, which was lovely. The coffee was also delicious; we are coffee lovers and were pleased with the quality here. We want to give a special shoutout to Barbara, our server, who brought our daughter a coloring book and was sweet to her throughout our meal. She was a very kind lady."

"Even if you didn't know it, Côte is a chain of French restaurants. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was delicious. It may not be gourmet, but it's well-prepared French cuisine. The wine list can be a bit pricey, but if you're willing to splurge, you can find some excellent options. We had a bottle of Côte Rôtie from a great producer and a good vintage for £59, while elsewhere a common Rioja was £25. We also enjoyed a delicious Armagnac after dinner. As former Oddbins employees, my friend and I appreciated the great wine list. The staff was friendly and the manager let us stay until we were ready to leave, providing excellent customer service. Top marks for me."

"Originally starting as a popup in 2012, The Joint quickly became a permanent fixture in the London dining scene with 2 locations in Brixton and Marylebone. I first tried their sandwiches at the Brixton branch in Brixton Village about 3 years ago and have been a fan ever since. The menu is simple yet satisfying, with a selection of mains and sides to choose from. I opted for the beef brisket bun with smoked aioli and bacon relish, which was absolutely delicious. The brisket was tender and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the savory and sweet relish. The brioche bun was also outstanding, freshly baked and buttery. Don't forget to order a side of wings, whether BBQ or hot, they are a must-try. The Joint continues to impress with their incredible flavors and quality ingredients. "We ordered the Sunday roast (both chicken and beef). The waiter got our order wrong and gave us a beef pie instead of beef Sunday roast, however upon delivery quickly changed it for us. The portions are big but other than that there is nothing really good to say about the food the chicken was dry, the beef was tough, the gravy presented with the chicken was the same as the beef one, but tasted strange with the chicken as the flavours were of red wine jus. The Yorkshire pudding was dry and tasted store bought. My roast cauliflower cheese was cold and I had to ask for it to be heated up. The other vege sides were okay, nothing special. At least the service was nice and attentive."

"Came here with my wife after a recommendation from her work colleague. This little restaurant is tucked away in the high street and you could miss it quite easily. But I would encourage everyone to hunt the place out. The menu is mixed with english breakfasts and sandwiches at very good prices alongside a Portuguese menu and a mexican menu. We opted for Portuguese as the owner is from Madera. We shared pasteis de bacalhau which is basically cod crochets. These were very good and ypu could really taste the fish the exterior wasnt your typical over cooked over fried crochet. Lightly cooked with a good crunch. We then shared arroz de pato duck with rice and chorizo as well as lula estufada stuffed squid. Both dishes were nicely cooked the squid was soft and not chewy at all in fact perfectly cooked. The duck was rich and succulent not at all dry. Overall we thought it was a great little find and will be going back soon"
