"Called in for a take away roast from the carvery which is priced at £8. I believe this is a great price for Taunton. Food was arriving to the carvery freshly prepared and smelling rather good. There is a very large step up to and down from the carvery area. Unfortunately it got to 12:15 and I had become quite warm and didn't feel too well, the carvery was still not ready. Arrived home put my plate and cutlery away. I don't think I would return. The food looked great. It's a very male dominated bar, but all whom I came across were very sweet. The large step up and down from the carvery would not have been overcome by me however I have no doubt the staff would have been very helpful in supplying me with my takeaway lunch It was not £8 well spent by me but this does not make this a poor carvery just a tad delayed in its delivery."
