"Mams in Knightsbridge is an Arabic cafe that has quickly become a favourite of mine. Located in the heart of the upscale neighbourhood, Mams serves up some of London's most authentic healthy Middle Eastern street food. I recently visited the restaurant and tried a few dishes that I just had to share. First up, the mixed shawarma. This dish is a must-try for any first-timers at Mams. It features a combination of chicken and beef shawarma served with pita bread, salad, and a side of tahini sauce. The meat was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the tahini sauce was creamy and flavorful. The portion size was generous, and the dish was definitely filling. Next, we tried lamb shawarma. This dish was equally impressive. The lamb was juicy and tender, and the spices were just right. It was served with the same accompaniments as the mixed shawarma and was equally filling. We also ordered the Manakeesh, an Arabic-style pizza. We opted for the pesto, mozzarella, and sundried tomato flavour, which did not disappoint. The crust was crispy and slightly chewy, and the toppings were fresh and delicious. We also had the Lahmajan. It was a unique twist on a classic pizza and was definitely worth trying. We also enjoyed a bowl with a choice of protein, grain, and vegetables, topped off with a delicious sauce. We chose the grilled chicken as our protein, and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We added quinoa as our grain and a variety of fresh vegetables, including cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. The sauce was a delicious blend of tahini, lemon juice, and herbs. We finished off our bowl with Halloumi. The combination of flavours and textures was simply outstanding, and it was a dish that I could eat every day. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Mams. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. If you're in the Knightsbridge area and looking for a taste of authentic Middle Eastern street food, I highly recommend checking out Mams. "Completely dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Full English Breakfast with tea, and they arrived together as requested. However, the tea was served in a small espresso cup on a saucer, and I had to ask for milk as it came in a milk jar with a lid. The breakfast itself was as advertised, but the plate it was served on was cold, causing the food to quickly cool down. The eggs were undercooked, and the plate was too small for the serving, resulting in the toasted bread falling off. The atmosphere was good, and the initial waitress was adequate, but no one checked in to see if everything was satisfactory. If they had, I would have expressed my dissatisfaction then and there."

"we had to wait about 50 minutes for our food, and the guests at the table did that. we had the oriental kicherbsencurry with tofu and the Asian plant wax with tofu. on both were 5 tofu cubes. when I look at how much beef compared to what is done, I feel a little less than vegan. in the kicherbsencurry was not a spinat to see what I had addressed directly. the service asked the cook responsible for the curry and wok dishes (open kitchen) and came back with the statement that the babyspinate was processed in the sauce. I feel like me. I'm not blind. it wasn't a matching tent green to see in the whole curry. on the image in the internet you see the babyspinate clearly. The curry was rather faded, the sauce from wok had a addictive effect that makes me think of glutamat, otherwise everything fresh from the sweet. the naan brot was delicious. as we had searched for the vegan milk rice with a strawberry sauce, on which we were told that there was generally no more, he was unfortunately still standing on the map ahja (also in the internet), then I come back to mine. the homemade criminal tee was much too sweet for both of us. the service was friendly and helpful. probably we had just badly tonight, unfortunately the holiday is around now and the days were always very fast booked out. reservation is recommended in high season."

"My partner and I were looking for a change of breakfast venue. We always go to The Antiquary in St Stephen Street as we love it. No one has a patch on it yet. So we headed to The Piece Box. On entering we were happy to see there were hand sanitizers and given a seat very quickly. We sat at the door, but there was a bit of a breeze everytime it opened, but this was to be expected. We just didn't want to take up a table for four.Orders were taken quickly. I ordered the full breakfast and my partner ordered pancakes and bacon with maple syrup. Tea and coffee also.The place started filling up very quickly mostly with people under 40 or maybe 30. So we got there in a good time.As we waited on our food I just sat back and observed. I noticed one of the waitresses take a clean teaspoon to accompany the coffee she was going to give out, and she dropped the spoon on the floor and without any hesitation she threw it in the sink in the kitchen and got a clean one. This was nice to see. Which wasn't nice to see was the cook running around like a demented chicken trying to probably juggle more than he can chew. This was stressful to watch and not feeling a relaxing atmosphere at all.Breakfast came. My partners was fine. Mines was disappointing. The plate didn't feel all that warm, my bacon was cold and chewy, like eating an old slipper. The chipolata sausages not to my liking, but the worst was the mushrooms! They were awful awful!! They were like eating earth, bad earth. I said to my partner you can have them as he loves mushrooms and would eat anything but he could not eat them. We were thinking they were either out a tin or boiled and as dark as a miners pit. Best bit of the breakfast was the poached egg. Only got one piece of toast with butter that was to my liking. I was also given a choice of black pudding or haggis...for £10.50 I'd expect both. My local pub does an amazing breakfast for £8.50, good quality ingredients and top up coffee. Really disappointed with the Piece Box effort. Service was good, waitresses polite, stuck to all the COVID rules, but I won't return. I like a nice hot breakfast."

"let them do the fact that it is in a cellar, to turn it off. plundering are deceptive and this is a magical place. inside it is quite cozy but full of character. more to the point that eating is from this world. one of the best meals I've ever had. the steak was cooked exactly on request and was really tasteful and delicate. had a light panic, as waiter thought her pistachios cheese cake was ready, but checked and found a disc for me....absolute heaven . I just wanted it to have eaten there and then again. coffee was hot .another bonus. I wish I found this place earlier. btw .management her waiter is a bad one. hold him tight! will definitely be back."
