"Service and ambiance good but cooking poor and overpriced. Flavours were lacking apart from too much salt. Beetroot in starter lacking sweetness with too salty goats cheese. Partridge stringy and liver tainted. Venison nicely cooked but flavourless. Pear baba excellent but Chantilly cream far too sweet. Treacle tart had rock hard casing. Coffee not listed on menu and priced at £7 each: even with oversweet petit fours an extortionate price. A great disappointment over all."
