"Hello to the team who were working today. This is just to say a big THANK YOU for the lovely lunch and service we received today whilst celebrating my parents 66th Wedding Anniversary. The food was delicious, my mother hasn't eaten a 3 course meal for about 2 years, she did today! (My sea bass was lovely...and the sauce! It was a great surprise and a delightful touch to have their desserts served on a specially decorated platter, thank you so much, the perfect end to a lovely meal. I must also add that the staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful, we moved table, took ages to make decisions, we never felt rushed and always felt looked after. "This always looks busy at noon, but we went on a Friday night and it was very quiet. The food was not great, the garlic bread was definitely microwave, like my pasta dishes. The pizza was at least freshly cooked, but the toppings were dry. The service was very fast, but let us feel very eager, the minute I finished, they took my plate, despite the fact that my partner still eats! When she took our starter plates, we were asked if we wanted our net or wanted a break. Assuming that our foods are freshly cooked, we now said that a 10 minutes wait or so, but they brought it within 30 seconds. We were in and out in about 40 minutes with a drink, starter and a main thing. Not the relaxed and fresh food we hoped for! As I said, it is always busy on the day so maybe the food and service is better then but I would definitely not recommend for dinner."

"Sizlers is a great place esp as it is local to us and within walking distance. It's small and unpretentious, and go out of their way to cater for my personal taste which is ULTRA spicy prawn linguini! Their menu is not enormous but has a good selection. Overall I love the place."

"The night we had dinner, we were happy to get a table without a long wait, as we found in greater London. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. It was raining that night, otherwise, they would have their front windows open to the outdoor dining area, making it more like a sidewalk cafe experience. We ordered lasagna, veil and seafood marinara and all dishes were made to order. It was obvious as you could see and hear the kitchen as it is open to the bar. I could smell everything being prepared and it was lovely. The chef is Italian and her cooking is top notch! The waiter was wonderful, can't recall his name but he was from Bangladesh. Very personable and attentive, but provided us ample time to enjoy our dinner and dessert without interruptions. If you are in this area of London, I would suggest you check it out for a wonderful Italian meal. Prices are very reasonable, too."

"My friend and I visited a concert at the Apollo and decided to grab a bite to eat beforehand. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely server and promptly seated. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious with generous portions. The restaurant was very clean, though I would suggest adding tablecloths for a nice touch. The prices were reasonable and I would recommend this restaurant without hesitation."

"We dined at this restaurant before attending a matinee show at the Apollo, which was only a 10-minute walk away. The food was good, portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant was quite empty, with only our party of two and one other couple dining. The waiter mentioned that it gets much busier in the evening."

"The atmosphere was incredible, my family and I really enjoyed the space. The service was good, lovely waitress who attempted to help at all times, I feel she was maybe inexperienced and could do with some training. The food would have been perfect however during my starter (goats cheese with lettuce, beetroot and cranberries) I was mid eating and pulled a piece of plastic from my mouth that was in the food. I did complain to our lovely waitress however she was unsure of how to deal with the situation so I was advised to complain to the fork in regards to some kind of compensation as our total was 117 pounds. Which is a lot for food with plastic in it."
