"When we brought up the issue, the manager only took off half the cost of the pudding. When we asked for the rest of the pudding to be removed from the bill as well (which was £17), my husband explained it was due to the poor service we received. The manager then returned with the other half of the pudding cost in loose change, which we found to be a complete insult. We have never been so offended, and after speaking to friends who also agreed that the restaurant has declined in quality, we believe a staff overhaul is necessary. It's a shame, as before Covid, it used to be a friendly restaurant with consistently good food."
