"Absolutely wonderful! From the service as soon as you walk in, to the staff, the food, it was just fantastic! Very helpful and efficient greeter who showed us to our table and noted the vegan note on the booking. He was able to advise what to order on the nut roast and what to swap out. All of the staff were highly attentive. The roast (I had the nut roast and my partner had the beef) was the best roast I’ve ever had! The quality of everything on the plate was incredible. Such a decent price as well for the quality you get. Thank you for such a lovely meal we cannot wait to come back when you start doing roasts again!"

"We had travelled from Portsmouth to Cornwall for our week holiday and also our British Bulldog had travelled with us,the staff at the pub were more than accommodating when informing us that they were a dog friendly pub,the Sunday roast dinner we had was cooked to perfection with nice fresh vegetables and the portion sizes were plentiful,compliments to the chef and staff,would highly recommend"

"Glorious! We absolutely love this restaurant great service (staffs were all smiles and personable), food are absolutely divine (chef showcase cooking technique and executed the dishes really well), family friendly (really good quality kids menu with proper vegetable sides included), baby friendly (baby change facilities included). It’s just an all rounded, good quality seafood restaurant. We would totally come back here again when we visit Poole again. Try it to know it!"

"The worse part of the medieval experience is finding a parking place! We were in a Camper and found past the harbour next to the RNLI building 4 hours for £3.20 using RingGo App. So, this is my 5 visit over the years and its always a must when I visit this end of Cornwall. Just one glass of Mead is enough if your driving. Always have the Chicken and chips (Salad Bar also fantastic) it’s the best Chicken I’ve had, would love to know the secret of the crispy outside with lovely soft juicy chicken within. This time I had the Fish Fries as a starter. Wow! So good!! Must have been caught that morning! Makes sense it’s next to the biggest fishing fleet in Cornwall. Go! You will not be disappointed!!"
