"my friend and I came before our walk to the botanical gardens and were not disappointed. the atmosphere was beautiful, the staff so friendly and the eating was delicious. both the prices and the portions were great, we were not disappointed. I managed to get some curry on my white dress and was so worried it was stained, so I asked for a wet serviette but the dame went to get stain remover and helped me get rid of the spot - there is no mark at all! we enjoyed our stay, the time flew by and the owner made it a pleasant experience."

"Placed an order at tonight July). Phoned shop around as Just Eat updated to say the food was delivered. We were told its happening a lot tonight and that it’s on its way and that they are really busy which is fine and I can accept that However, it’s now past midnight, the shop won’t answer the phone and there is no food and money taken out my account. Unbelievably, the shop is closed and despite me ringing they’ve taken the phone off the hook! How bad is that for service?? Charge me but then completely stiff me when I’m trying to find out what’s happening I know they need to close but while they have orders out and not delivered surely that’s a bit unprofessional? So disappointed as food is great but this is a joke!"

"Just back from this restaurant if you could call it that. One of the worst experiences we have ever had in our lives. We booked a table for 12 with children and had been sat down for 5 minutes. One of our infants knocked two plates together and the owner gave us a stare. Then one of the adults in our party tried to shuffle in behind the table and a plate accidentally fell and smashed. The owner then proceeded to the table with an aggressive tone and said don 't break any more plates they cost a pound each ' and then one of our party that said 'sorry it was an accident, I genuinely didn 't mean it, if you are so unhappy about it just add it to our bill '. The owner then said ' okay I will then and stop breaking plates '. We all had to leave immediately before we ordered any food due to the horrendous atmosphere that this owner caused. What is more frustrating about this is that we had family visiting from abroad and brought them here for their last night. What an absolute embarrassment this has been. Even when we said we were leaving he said 'on you go! '. If they truly believe that this is the kind of atmosphere that customers like to receive then I believe they are well off the mark. There is definitely an air of arrogance and condescension as if they don 't need the money or the custom. So if your not sure about where you want to go for something to eat and are considering this place, take our advice give it a very wide berth and go somewhere else where you will surely be looked after better."

"I booked the restaurant from looking at the reviews and I felt that it was worth a go. From the outside I wasn’t sure. It looked a little shall we say, dated, but upon entering the restaurant the décor was beautiful. We were seated and throughout the service was adequate. The pakora wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still nice. The curry however was tasty. The chicken was incredibly tender. Reasonably priced. Worth the money I would say. However the toilets would do with a face lift. Over all would say it was good and that I would go back"

"I ordered two pizzas and chips and cheese and when the order arrived it was missing a pizza. When the shop was contacted about this I was told that the shop was closed and there was no delivery drivers left to deliver a new pizza. There was no attempt to send the missing pizza which was already paid for. The only attempt to sort the situation was by offering a pizza the next time I order, so I’d have to pay more to get the pizza that I already paid for. Unfortunately won’t be ordering again as the service is terrible."

"Hi we ordered a takeaway legally as per covid ! We live only an 8 minute drive away, we were told 20 minutes for collection and we arrived in good time to no que and left for home at around 20 minutes later ! We ordered chicken pakora which was cold ! A portion of chicken tikka masala and it was grainy almost as though the yogurt wasn’t fresh as the sauce looked sandy and was slightly gritty in texture, we also ordered a chicken Korma and the sauce was the same but also spicy (which Korma isn’t supposed to be). With both mains we ordered fried pilau rice which was also cold but even worse when you opened the containers the rice came out in rectangular lumps and it didn’t want to separate and clumped together. The rice was definitely reheated from probably the day before as we ordered our meal at 5.30pm ish. I ordered from this shop on the TripAdvisor ratings and having ordered a starter and 2 main courses if 1 thing was going to be disappointing then fair enough but for the whole meal to be **** then I suggest the owners have had a big hand in the ratings for their establishment. I also at the point of ordering our meal made a point of telling the guy on the phone that this was the 1st time I had ordered from them as their ratings looked great. I will definitely not be spending my hard earned cash in this establishment again disappointed is an understatement !"

"The service was excellent, but we waited for 40 minutes without realizing it. The delivery driver claimed he knocked on the door, but he didn't. Our two dogs were going crazy! "We have had some lovely take away meals from here in the past. But the last two have been quite disappointing. Even though I don't live far from the restaurant and it is delivered very quick the food has been cold recently. We tried the lamb tikka starter for the first time, which was cold and it was really tough like it had not been freshly cooked, we ended up leaving it. The chicken tikka was lovely but also cold and the salad that comes with the starters wasn't fresh. The mains where lovely but again needed warming up and not very big portion sizes at all. Overall I think we will be trying other local Indian restaurants in hope to find a consistent one!"
