"This restaurant has undergone several reboots in recent years, but it has finally found its stride. It now has the appearance of a proper Italian neighborhood restaurant. Since its reopening, we have visited three times and have found the food to be consistently tasty and, at its best, genuinely delicious. The ingredients are top-notch, seasonal, and fresh, the cooking is impeccable, and the service and prices are excellent and affordable. Standout dishes include polenta with mushrooms, salsiccia with lentils, pizza with dolce latte, wild boar ragu, and mixed antipasti. Alessandro, the owner, is happy to discuss the menu and even provided a detailed description of a special sausage and lentil dish I tried recently. The food is simple, comforting, and satisfying - it doesn't get much better than this."
