"A nice friendly atmosphere with attentive service. Food was excellent all of us had starters and a main course. Everyone's meals were well presented and a good size portion. The main was plentiful leaving no room for dessert on this occasion. We will definitely be returning soon."

"Very disappointed. Took my work team out for Christmas lunch. Table booked for 115pm. Arrived a little early hopping table you we ready as it was hard to book. Restaurant very quiet, no reason for it the be hard to book. Sat for 35 mins before and order was taken and had to ask for it to be taken. Ordered from the set Christmas menu as we thought that would be quicker. Just over 1 hour before starts arrived. Wasn’t anything difficult that required much cooking. 25 mins before main course arrived. Christmas diner and Cod order. Both dishes ok. Turkey dinner very large compared to Cod. Turkey a little dry but overall good quality ok. Only one drink order taken thorough. People at the table had to go looking for staff to get another drink. Asked for the bill after main course. I had to go looking for someone to let me pay it. Total 2 and 1/4 hours in the restaurant. Very disappointed with the service and speed. I missed a meeting for it as I could not be rude and get up and leave plus I was paying. I can understand it’s harder at this time of year but the place was empty and for £30 for 2 course I expect better. Would not come back."
