"We stayed at Worsley Arms because we wanted to be near Castle Howard. Hovingham is a picturesque village. The market some Saturday mornings is worth a visit There is nothing remarkable about Worsley Arms as a place. Two things made the place exceptional: first the owners Tony and Sally supported by their extrovert musician son Josh, and assistant Debs. They wanted to help Jyoti. Then the chef some really good cooking there. We had meals both nights their lamb on root herb risotto, calves liver and chicken and vegetable risotto. Dessert one day was a melee of rhubarb and gin."
