"I went for a business lunch, and although I wouldn't say it was a bad experience, I would be hard pressed to say it was an excellent one the portion sizes were a little hit and miss (very large side orders, but the starters felt a little small), and the service was not top notch. Being an Italian restaurant, I would have expected the waitress to know what a Negroni was, but that aside, things like the water not being left on the table and them forgetting to bring sides with the main course and needing to be reminded let the service down. It was not overly busy on the day we went, so there is room for improvement. There was nothing wrong with the food when it did arrive. Still, we didn't order anything out of the ordinary and having been to a few Italian restaurants recently, Bella Cosa, unfortunately, didn't figure high up on the places visited, which is a shame. Maybe it was an off day but overall as I say, although not a bad experience I couldn't say it was a great one."

"I arrived and told the receptionist that I have a reservation and he told me to go upstairs to another restaurant without checking anything or my booking. Then I went back there and he was with an awful face, looks like he didn’t want to be there. The pizza was very good but the other dishes like beef carpaccio and swordfish carpaccio with 3 slices of beef/fish and a lot of leaves…don’t worth it. They served a beer disgusting with a lot of dirty on the glass, we asked to change it 2 times. That is a shame because the place is very near my house, and the menu look’s great. But the service is terrible."

"This was my second visit to the restaurant and overall, the dining experience was good as we enjoy the teppanyaki style of cooking. The service was attentive and the chef was very pleasant, showcasing his skills and cooking abilities well. The only issue was that the crispy garlic dish was served cold instead of being cooked on the grill, and it was also pricey. The biggest disappointment was that there was no sushi or sashimi service available on Sunday night, which was not mentioned on the website when I made my reservation online. Despite these setbacks, we still had a pleasant evening and enjoyed the meal. Although a bit expensive, it is expected in London."

"The only complaint I have is that everything felt a bit worn out and not take care of. The menus were falling apart. The floor was sticky. The decor also felt a little off. Just looks like the person who owns it doesn’t really care all that much for it. But the chef we had was charming and the food was good. My kids loved it and I haven’t had tepanyaki in years. Overall a pleasant experience, just don’t walk in with high expectations."

"Not bad not great. Kids blagged to go for the ask you can eat ice cream factory. One sauce and two toppings that were the same but different colours. Absolutely terrible more a single choice not a factory. The pizza fit the buffet was either pepperoni, bbq or mushrooms. Terrible terrible choice! Waste of money wish we'd just git two large pizzas instead. Not bad, not great. Won't return for that lunch option."

"Incredible disappointed as have been to other Benihana’s and had a fantastic experience. We arrived early and weren’t allowed to sit down which was fine as we sat at the hotel bar. When we went back to be seated we were only told then they were short of chefs so no one would be cooking in-front of us... isn’t that why you go there?! There was quite a language barrier between us and the waitress but we soon found out they had NO sushi or sashimi!!! Had they had the courtesy to be honest and tell us beforehand we could’ve booked a different venue instead of wasting our evening which we were meant to be celebrating my boyfriends birthday. We left with no apology and will not be revisiting."

"I've been treating my sister for lunch today as she was birthday. she is vegan so I chose this restaurant, which I saw on her Facebook page. we sat outside looking at the river past the occasional boat, swan and do what they do, and the people watched as another row of people passing by the foot. the owner, ritchie was charming, though calm. we met our choice and the food was extra fresh and delicious. I had a beginner, main course and pudding (call me miss piggy), while my sister chose a main course, only followed by tee. because she wore a gift bag and opened, the owner seduced it her birthday and brought a small birthday cake with an illuminated candle. we thought that was a very nice extra note. an extensive menu that all marked clearly (vegan, wheat-free etc.) and very cheap. I recommend this restaurant and know I will certainly rehearse more of their tariff."

"Nice Italian restaurant and (relatively) reasonably priced in Mayfair. I had the chicken salad which was very good. Risotto also looked good. Very large pizzas looked amazing, but it was Monday lunch so… Shout out to the wine list as well if you are in to that mark ups looked pretty good at the higher end. Service was excellent."

"One of my favourite Italians in London. Familiar but good service, very good food, atmosphere varies, lovely outside garden seated area, think I’ve only sat inside once, outside is the place to be. Lost a point for front of house, a couple of times found the greeting a little unwelcoming but normally once the ice is broken it’s a nice place to be and enjoy good food. You also may encounter the odd sour faced Chelsea I don’t or can’t smile much type as fellow patrons but hey"

"This Italian restaurant is fantastic! The staff is friendly and the food is cooked perfectly. I started with the delicious mussels in a white wine, tomato, and chili sauce. Then I had the Veal Parmigiana, which was absolutely delicious. The homemade Tiramisu was also fantastic. They have a good selection of reasonably priced wines. Overall, a fantastic restaurant that is definitely worth a visit."

"Olleys is a great little fish and chip shop next to Brockwell Park. A huge range of fish and many other dishes are available to eat in or take away. The restaurant is furnished in a somewhat eccentric fashion with lots of great corners to hide in. The feel is far from classy, rather fun and lighthearted so is more suited to a dinner with a group of friends than for a couple. Take-away service is fast and convenient for the park if you prefer to dine al-fresco. Don't expect proper chips and gravy though..."

"The best part of our visit was the staff, but the service itself lacked excitement. The “show” at the grill was minimal, and we felt that our server wasn’t attentive, leaving us to manage our own wine. No one checked on us during the dinner or offered dessert. When we inquired about it, we were told that it was not available. Ultimately, we felt guided to leave after only receiving three of the options we had already paid for."
