"My friend arrived early , was shown to the table and not asked if she wanted a drink ..left oar hed until we arrived some mins later. The head waitress seemed very stressed and short with us on our arrival .I understand they were busy but to be just told we are busy and have her run off in the other direction while we waited was a but rude. We then had to ask if we had to order drinks at bar or was waitress service to which we were again told no waitress well be with you in a minute we are really busy abrupt.When we did get to give our order is was rushed and abrupt. My friend got given a gin and tonic when she asked for vodka and tonic..it was replaced which was good. We asked for a bottle of sparkling water and a jug of tap water. The drinks were brought over sporadically and they forgot our tap water. We chose cocktails instead of dessert and asked for the bill when ordering them. We had to ask for the bill twice. Despite the bad service , we had nice time and just got on with the meal celebrating my Birthday. We wont be returning anytime soon."

"I like the Sauterelle, which is nearby and has always provided a pleasing level of refinement without being fussy. On this occasion, we were kept waiting at our table for a nearly 20 minutes before being even offered a drink or having an order taken. Service, this time, was a touch brusque. Perhaps some front-of-house staff had gone missing, leaving the rest under pressure. The wine-list seems to have been pruned recently (although I may be wrong about this) and is both lacking in variety and frankly expensive. Food remains very good, and the ambience is still discreet and pleasant."

"Was struggling to find somewhere for a Sunday lunch before heading home from our weekend on the Isle of Wight. With 7 of us it was a challenge. Found this option and website wasn't overly inspiring. In reality the outlook of the marina was superb. The food was tasty and good portions but the most noticeable thing was the level of service. Not only that but the genuine smiles and helpfulness of the staff was first class. Great outside play area for the kids. Struggling to think what it lacks!"

"We were disappointed to find that the chicken dish we wanted was sold out, and we felt like we had to leave earlier than we wanted because they closed at 6 PM, which is earlier than usual. That said, the experience is always pleasant. I do find it a bit pricey, so while I would definitely return, it might not be as frequently due to the value for money."

"the eating and service at this place is easy some of the best in the city at a modest price. hayley (applications if I look the wrong) and dean were our waitress/adults and they were great! full of this great scouse energy and hayley's food recommended were before place, they are amazing! Hold it! the lamb terrine was simply amazing, the pork was tender and cooked for perfection and my kod loin was pan melated at perfection. the truffle parmesan chips I have been happy to pay over well over £100 for our meal yesterday evening and it is the same in amazing pinion restaurant in my hometown or prescot. the workers are so courteous and welcoming and they will really try to do everything they need. if it is possible! honestly, I think the elite bistro chain of restaurants offer the best price performance amazing food throughout the northwest."

"Arrived on time, was quickly greeted and sat down. The restaurant is lovely and well maintained including all amenities. I don’t remember hearing any music however I’m certain it was being played in the background. Bar staff etc are all on show, was very impressed with the presentation, uniform etc all very clean and professional which gives a very good impression. Starter was fair (Squid and Courgette) nice size portion, no issues at all. Wine is priced just over what I would say is fair it certainly wasn’t expensive. Main course was a bit of a let down, I had steak which did not include any sides, I’ll be honest it was below average. Wife had pasta (seafood), again this was average at best. We were given a bottle of limoncello which was a very nice touch to finish, we were also given olives and bread sticks to start which again is a nice touch. We will be going back and giving it another try."

"ordered a milkshake from them on Uber eats at tonight, with an estimated delivery time of half an hour. I'm working early in the morning and fancied a treat before I went to bed. the restaurant closes at but it said it would arrive by then so I wasn't too worried. but every ten minutes that passed the estimated arrival time got longer. at I tried to call but it rang out. at half I was ready to go to bed, tried to call again. estimated time of arrival was now midnight. finally, at past midnight, Uber eats just cancelled my order and refunded me without redberry ever actually contacting me themselves. awful service, shame because the food is always lovely but it's not worth the wait at all."

"The service was friendly but quite slow and disorganized, with several servers asking us the same questions and then vanishing for long stretches of time. They were out of the first two types of gin listed on the menu when we ordered. The food was just average considering the prices, and we found a £28 main course on the bill that we hadn’t ordered. "The food was amazing the service was really good very nice to be properly served your meal the old fashioned way! The sweet trolley was wonderful! My only gripe is that we were packed in like sardines we were there on a Sunday lunchtime and it was very busy. We had a table for two which was bordering on uncomfortably close to another big table. Would have liked a little bit more room especially as it was very warm even with the air conditioning, but overall a lovely meal."

"When we arrived, our booking wasn’t known to the restaurant. We later found out that inexplicably our reservation came through to the restaurant from OpenTable as “cancelled”. However, the staff were exceptionally accommodating and moved some tables around to fit one in for my parents and me. Only slight dissatisfaction is the fact that an older gentleman member of staff primarily spoke to my father when it was myself a 31 year old female) who’d made the booking and organised the night out for us. We let it go. And he was very helpful with finding us a table. But, nonetheless, blatantly sexist behaviour :"

I run to oxford street. the wonderful aroma that goes out on the road is extremely tempting! both twosome and quality is the same; sinful delicious! I wish they had tables and chairs to sit at the oxford street. you have torn the handbag, trying not to block footwalkers, cracking shopping bags while you still try and at the same time eat your tasty waffel! a Wafflemeister kiosk in westfield mall. I can't expect you to try. this waffel is pure perfection! everyone should try!"
